This is not the history of the world this is the history of the universe so the title of this video on YouTube is incorrect.

  2. Oyekanmi Adeolu on April 4, 2022 at 6:06 pm

We can all agree that, we know nothing about the universe and creation
That all we know is just theories at best

  3. Maria Ebraheem on April 4, 2022 at 6:06 pm

Jesus loves you so much. He died on the cross for you!!!

  4. PETER BOVOLD III on April 4, 2022 at 6:08 pm

    Somehow, some how.

  5. KLAKLAWES on April 4, 2022 at 6:08 pm

There are some little theories, wich one is my prefer= MAURO BIGLINO
And i start where it interest me
    * God send a satellite to the hearth
    * Dinosaurs disappier
    * A new species like 10k years substitute the other one, but with tecnology u got the power to mantein it= every man against nature is dead, but with tecnology u kill the nature, so it is called survive skills= chickens most ability in all the planet
    * Human race cultivated
    * 10k years ago the Gods appier into hearth… they teach us how to cultivate
    * Sometimes they come back and see how it goes and works
    * U can learn from everybody, also by animals

    * How u mantein the power
    * How do u sell
    * How u make people work
    * How can u have 1 billion $ with a God of 13.5 inches
    AS USUAL.. am i correct??

So i dont agree at all… as usual, cuz by ur pictures, the future will be:
    – 13.5 inches
    – Chiken
    – Result= 1 billion $
CHIKENS ARE The biggest dirtyest stupid oviparous animal in the planet, more than porches/mammiferous… that where it make its needs is worst than Attila… even Grass doesnt grow= and people dont know it, they dont know it/it burns it all… and IT WORKS… so they aint wanna know it

    IT IS:
    – Who do u teach to??
    – Are u sure it deserve it??
    – What it is gonna do with ur teachings?
    – Why do u teach?
    – Why u make a lesson of 18 min to describe the lifetime of the universe, while in the meantime people every day wanna listen more of the person in front of them??
    – Is life a lesson… or in the caos someone wanna give a huge lesson?
    – Does simplicity works?? Yes… always
    – When it becomes complicated.. it hurts/damages of every kind= and i think i am pretty good on reconizing human behaviour and dinamics (no mercy at all… just facts)

EX OF DAMAGES: chimic make products by natural ingridients, but put them together by force (not in nature, but created by tecnology) create damage cuz they cant be dismantled… people get sick and die

    * Sometimes it works, and sometimes u take a huge lesson
    * And what it will grows, just God knows if it will be right or not (if it exists)
    * So everybody… as usual… make their own

    Survey lecture indeed

  7. Ruben Tala on April 4, 2022 at 6:09 pm

A global climate change 10000 years ago made farming possible. The present global climate change may make it impossible or very difficult.

Burning fossil fuels make this global civilization possible. The end of cheap fossil fuels may bring about a collapse of this global civilization.

The decline of fossil fuels should receive the same attention as climate change.

Is "something" can came out from "nothing"?

  14. Arep on April 4, 2022 at 6:16 pm

Most people would believe 100% of what is said in this video as if the guy himself saw all of this with his own eyes. Believe me some are right and some are wrong. Did he ever mention how those exotic chemistry created the first dna molecule? Nope. How do I know? Because I didn’t just look at only one perspective and believe that’s all there is to it

  16. John Vatcher on April 4, 2022 at 6:18 pm

Don’t buy it! Gravity, big bang, dna, consciousness…where have they come from?

  17. Shane V on April 4, 2022 at 6:19 pm

A very informative articulated summary of our universe while masterfully using metaphors.

  18. Bass Stuff on April 4, 2022 at 6:23 pm

    What a BS story!!!

  19. Jeff Disher on April 4, 2022 at 6:24 pm

I believe in God who created this world and life in it. Life begets life. We see this happen in plants and animals every day. What we never ever see is that things just magically appear from nothing. We never see things move to higher levels of complexity on their own. A creator God is more logical than believing everything just magically appeared and then randomly evolved into life as we know it today. Both require faith but God’s version of life coming from life is more believable.

With the most recent advances in technology and even the Hubble telescope we know much of the origins of the universe was complex and it had an architect from the very beginning…so with a decade of science and DNA research we know much of what he states in this entertaining video is NONSENSE.

  23. Maria G on April 4, 2022 at 6:26 pm

You will own nothing and you’ll be happy…

  24. Bill Johnson on April 4, 2022 at 6:29 pm

he never proposed a reason or cause for WHY the universe violated the 2nd law of physics (entropy), other than some "magical" or "mystical" events. quite banal and vapid. 18 minutes wasted. uninformative.

  25. curiousgeorge555 on April 4, 2022 at 6:31 pm

It is staggering beyond comprehension that anyone thinks this all just happened with no cause. Have we all become idiots?

  26. Dennis Strahm on April 4, 2022 at 6:33 pm

I like how the ‘Big Bang Theory both postulates a universe ‘created’ from nothing, and that humans are but an infinitesimal accident with great potential but deadly flaws.

  27. curiousgeorge555 on April 4, 2022 at 6:34 pm

His 1st sentence "around us there is nothing" is utterly nonsensical. Logically absurd. If there was an "us" there would be space and time. smh

  28. Abhay Adapanawar on April 4, 2022 at 6:35 pm

He is telling as if he was there for all times. His whole talk is mental speculation.

Its terrible and science unworthy. He explains things with: ‘because of magic’.

  32. Kenny Long on April 4, 2022 at 6:36 pm

Answer: The Universe is not ruled by the "Second Law of Thermodynamics" . There exists a CREATIVE FORCE everywhere in the Universe. Intelligence and evolution are ubiquitous forces in nature. (No need for any bearded "Heavenly-God-Father" wearing a white tunic and sandals).

  33. Boo7 Binhogs on April 4, 2022 at 6:38 pm

Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
    Surah Al Imran-
    Ayah 191

  34. GerardO on April 4, 2022 at 6:41 pm

"Blinded by Science"…….In the beginning was the WORD, and the word was with God and the word WAS God, that word is AUM, all creation was created by vibration! and the creative intelligence of a creator which we call God! IMHO (I ain’t selling anything)

  35. steveo R on April 4, 2022 at 6:42 pm

but it seems we are not learning that if we keep replicating at the current rate, we will kill ourselves off!

  36. Barb T. on April 4, 2022 at 6:47 pm

So bottom line, IT JUST SORT OF HAPPENED. what a great scientific

  37. Lilly Lee on April 4, 2022 at 6:48 pm

I’m also noticing that with the abundance of information, we are becoming more ignorant as a result of inability to assert it with critical thinking and common sense. Hence, history repeats itself and we will destroy ourselves.

It’s as true as Goldilocks. No science, no molecular biological mechanics, just big skips over the reality of what is STORY is conveying.

    Great story’ with great speaker.

  44. J. smith on April 4, 2022 at 6:55 pm

The other major historical threshold that Mr. Christian did not touch upon is the evolution of human consciousness. The human collective has yet to unfold its miraculous birth and development. It appears that human consciousness is a form of energy or vibration and not matter. We do not know precisely how it came into being, when it developed, for what purposes, uses, and its limitations. This new science of consciousness, perhaps the ultimate scientific challenge, if every resolved, just may be the breakthrough for a more complete understanding of big history. One more fragment of unknowing to unravel. And perhaps the most important one to understand.

  45. Joseph McCartney on April 4, 2022 at 6:55 pm

He was on the right track and then he crashed and burned, the first and second laws of thermodynamics prove evolution wrong and can’t be true in our world, nice try but just like fake news fake education that hates God, for the truth read the holy bible.

  46. Teresa Gomes da Silva on April 4, 2022 at 6:57 pm

best Ted Talk i’ve seen. Amazing presentation

  47. Harris Dabideen on April 4, 2022 at 7:02 pm

Great talk.Based on his chemical spontaneity of creation following the laws of physics,we should anticipate the continuing evolution of different things including man . I wonder which chemicals mediate our ability to good or evil or that innate instinct to thank a higher spirit.
