There’s more to life than social media
Indeed, scrolling through social media is the thing that causes mental breakdown and quitting it can really have a positive impact on anyone’s life. As I person who quit Facebook 4 years ago and Instagram 1 and half year ago I can say I have been experiencing that positive impact.
Imagine what this world would be like if we all stopped using social media.
Press after this interview: Tom Holland is in denial!
This is the epitome of celebrities aren’t seen as human. If he was your average Joe no one would bat an eye
Social media creating hate for each other. Algorithm shows according to your hate and insecurity engagement.
You are doing good Tom.
everybody does that and everybody is obsessed with what people think of them, that’s why they post attractive pictures of themselves, or music that makes them look interesting and worth it and they post what they do on their day because everybody wants everyone to know that their lives are interesting, worth it and they are worth anything whatsoever. It destroys self confidence, makes you a person who looks for constant approval and validation and it’s cringe. No one should be doing that, except maybe if you’re a public figure or a businessman or something. In that case, social media can be beneficial for you.
basically what the western media tells is wrong lol
Don’t announce it just shut it down
I love the English accent and I wish I had it. But anyway, I’ve never even logged in or peaked at Instagram ever in my 45 times around the sun.
Paints people "looking for help" in the WRONG light. Doctors gaslight people in danger all the time because of this brainswash!!
Wow! That’s what I am doing right now on my social media on taking a break. Mine is not cause of scrolling but making sure not get scammed (the problem of seeing websites and click it but it’s something I am trying to learn of my mistakes) so decided to step away from it. Already 3 days now not seeing my Facebook and Instagram. How I am feeling? Woah hard to say like has a different feel and in should I go back to social media or not or just do I feel I post and delete it again so I don’t get too attached.
I hate hate when social media does that to good people
I wonder if he created an new Instagram account in 2025, I joined Instagram because Tom is famous for Spiderman spoilers news.
This guy is way ahead of his age.
Ended up deleting facebook, instagram, Snapchat, X and etc… only thing in keeping is youtube.
The best thing is not engage in social media ❤
social media sucks now, people are boring
Jeez, they would make anything into a horrible thing.
I am very happy from the day i deleted my intsta fb , also am a small youtuber now ❤
When I hear "I quit social media" I know immediately he became a YT addict 🙂
You shouldn’t have said nothing just get off social media.
Imagine thinking removing toxicity and negativity from your life is a sign of a mental breakdown. What has this society come to?
Why don’t you delete everything about yoursrlf , there’s nothing interesting about you.
I use instagram to get my dose of dark humor, that’s it really. I don’t have anything much on my profile.
Good call by Tom. IMO social media was specifically designed to mess with our psyche, both the individual and the collective, particularly young people.
Bros accent is thicc
Keep it up kid. Kids need people like you
Shouldn’t even announce it just so it and stay lowkey
Me too im glad im slowly quitting it took a while to realize that it became toxic seeing peoples lives everyday . I loved seeing everyone happy but it didnt full filled my true happiness by living in real life makes me feel more present
Probably didn’t delete his account, just the app. So he can install it again when he feels like it and still have the huge follower base he had anyways
I’m on social media right now watching you and scrolling
Remember internet was made for saving time
Socialedia is so fucked and horrible same as News media thay will lie to talk shit about a person.
