Matthew 25 | Parables of Jesus: The Parable of the Ten Virgins | The Bible

Matthew 25 | Parables of Jesus: The Parable of the Ten Virgins | The Bible

Jesus gives the parables of the ten virgins.

Matthew 25:1–13

1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

The word of God is mighty, but I must say the mormon church uses the Bible as a catch to the people they preach to. They believe that the word of God is not complete and they add to it with their heretical books. Their church is an apostate. Repent and turn from the lies. The Bible is the only book of truth and the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is the only one true God. No one before them and no one after them! Put your faith in the word of God and not the lies of joseph smith!

I love this parable! Jesus Christ loves each of you so very much that he died for you, and for me! He did this not so that we could "earn heaven," because that’s impossible, but so that we can "learn heaven," or in other words, learn wisdom by trying to love God and mankind a little more each day. This oil I believe is the "eternal wisdom of love," because the pure love of God, and for others can last for all eternity!
This is only possible because Jesus Christ first loved us with his whole being!

Scripture says that a day is coming, a famine, not of bread or water, but of hearing the Word of God.
Jesus said that blessed are they that hear the Word of God and KEEP it.
Jesus spoke of a wise servant that prepared and distributed a word in season to those lost in the commotion, likened to the preparation of both Joseph and Obadiah.
As in the days of Noah, Jesus advised to lay up in store for a similar metaphorical time, where he was tasked to bring in all types of food to sustain every creature in the ark.
Conclusion: The oil is The Word of God.
Whatever level of internal sustenance one can maintain from memory is the volume in the lamp.
The extra vessel with the lamp is your physical Bible. You cannot let go of that because you need it yourself.
Going to buy one if you didn’t heed Jesus’ other parables such as "return not to your house" "take nothing out of your house" or "go not up to the rooftop"…. that might become perilous.
Make sure you always have your, or a Bible on you at all times, just think about Moses’ words, bind them on your hand, as frontlets before your eyes…

If you are a person "of means", please take up this charge, millions are going to need it.

One day, we will rejoice , but with sadness also, as God is not willing that ANY should perish.

The corn. To the wise virgins, come and see. That which was done in the beginning expect it at the end. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences

Matthew 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

Matthew 25:2. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

Genesis 41:7. To the wise virgins, come and see. And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, it was a dream.

I kings 12:19 So Israel rebelled against the house of David unto this day.

I kings 12:20. And it came to pass, when all Israel heard that Jeroboam was come again, that they sent and called him unto the congregation, and made him king over all Israel: there was none that followed the house of David, but the tribe of Judah only.

The corn. To the wise virgins, come and see. That which was done in the beginning expect it at the end. When the last within the beginning of the Alpha, becomes first expect the first within the end of the Omega, to become last. Do not muzzle the ox that trade out THE CORN!

The lamps and oil are so important! This is where Jesus said that that you have cherish it. Lord help me to keep my lamp trimmed and filled with oil. This is a time that we are not to share with those who do not have enough because it involves the keeping of our Souls and right standing with the Lord. Help Lord. The Bible says: Workout your own Soul’s salvation with fear and trembling.

This is a terrible interpretation of these verses from Matt 7. These verses talk about unrighteous devotion and hypocrisy. If you truly love god and keep his commandments, he will not cast you out. If your faith is only an outward facade with no actual devotion inside of you is when God “does not know you.” It’s not that deep my guy.

Regarding Matthew 25 and the foolish virgins.. that is NOT doctrine for the Christian and losing their salvation. Christians CANNOT lose their salvation, but Jews during the Tribulation can because they’re saved by faith AND WORKS.

The Church is considered to be the BRIDE throughout the whole Bible, not as virgins waiting to “meet” the Bridegroom

Matt 25:1 “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to MEET the bridegroom.” KJV

There’s not a single member of the Body of Christ in this entire chapter.

These “virgins” do not go to marry “the bridegroom” , they go to “meet” Him, because He is ALREADY married!

Read Luke 12:36 “And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.” KJV

The Bride of Christ is NEVER referred to as “virgins” in the plural; she is ONE

Ephesians 4:4 “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;”

And we are ESPOUSED to CHRIST, and we are like a chaste virgin (singular)

1 Corinthians 11:2 “For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.”

These “virgins” are mentioned in Psalm 45:14 and Song of Solomon 1:3 and 6:8 as SEPARATE from the Bride.

Just the chapter before this one, Matthew 24:45 these “servants” are JEWS, not Christians.

These Jewish, male “virgins” show up in the Tribulation in REVELATION 14:1-4

Their salvation is connected with WORKS (Revelation 12:17), which is why some of them can lose it

This book is tricky, but you must rightly divide or you can live your whole life knowing wrong doctrine. (2 Timothy 2:15)

The wise see and live with the holy oil of truth. If you want oil in your lamp so you can see – study truth diligently, because this empire on earth belongs to satan (deception)…
