He did the right thing, if they truly ❤u, they wouldn’t have a problem with including God in between our relationship. I had to walk away from my husband also because he thinks worshipping God is a joke.

This is such a powerful message but also brings up so many questions on my side (lol, I hope it’s okay to bring this on this platform). I know we always talk about being unequally yoked to an unbeliever, as a believer. But are there cases where you can be unequally yoked with a believer? I’m actually currently grieving a relationship too with someone who I thought I’d spend the rest of my life with. The only difference is that we were actually both Christians (even more he was a pastors kid), we tried to be consistent in praying for the relationship. We were definitely far from perfect. I began to be intentional about praying for the relationship and asking God to bring things to the surface that we needed to deal with before marriage is considered and then there was an unpleasant incident that happened. It’s been really frustrating to process this because I’m always wondering whether that was God bringing things to the surface for me to walk away for good…or His way of showing me that this is something he needs to deal with in this person before reconciliation can happen. Anyone with insight?

Had to do this very thing last year…let go of an unequally yolked relationship.
My boyfriend just broke up with me an hour ago via text and I am hurt and scared honestly, I was becoming the toxic one in the relationship, always complaining and this just opened my eyes and honestly I need to take God seriously. There are so many things I need to work on especially in myself. I hurt that man too much. Thank you for this.
