Let's Talk About Dating As A Christian

I AVOIDED THIS TOPIC FOR THE LONGEST! The truth is I didn’t feel like I had much to say on it because I always thought I was HORRIBLE at dating. however, this pushed me to pray and study the truth on dating as a Christian and in this video I talk about something that recently was revealed to me and has completely changed my life.

Dating as Christian is a hot topic so I’m sure this will not be my last video on the subject matter. Let me know your thoughts below.

God bless you and watch over you!

Thank you so much for this. As a teenage Christian, it is difficult to not join others in the trends and other worldly things. Lately, I have people around me being in relationships and I’ve been wanting one myself but after seeing this video it made me realize that I don’t NEED partner when I have The Father as my #1. That it’s okay to be different and stand out. I feel like I already knew this but I just needed a reminder. Thank you again, God bless you sir! ❤✝️

We are long distance, we aren’t official yet. He says his schedule is quite busy so he won’t be able to talk much with me throughout the day. Should I give him space and just continue with the gaps in conversation? Or is this a lost cause?

I can understand this, thank you for sharing. You need to love your life as a single person before seeking for romance, just let it happen if it happens. Trust God.

We need to give God what is for him: our fellowship. I’ve thought and meditated for a while now with the thought of waiting to kiss my girlfriend until marriage. Still thinks it might be an uneccessary law put onto us, since we often need something beside just a regular friendship there to build a romantic relationship there sooner. However, I as a man am called to not even look lustfully at a woman, so to touch her in an exciting way has troubles.
    Man, this is difficult

Don’t do that girlfriend-boyfriend thing. Had that and it hurts so much after break up. Wait until marriage. God bless you ❤

Thank you for sharing your honest thoughts and opinions, it helped me a lot. And I just want to say I have so much respect for you that your willing to talk about this subject while admitting that you don’t have it all figured out and you struggle in some areas, as we all do. God spoke to me through this video because you were honest and genuine, so thank you.

  12. @haydenboccelli5741 on May 11, 2025 at 9:14 pm

Amen. Thank you Paul. We are truly so blessed to learn from such a knowledgeable child of God. I now understand that I must be patient, and not rush God’s plan. I shall not take things into my own hands, but instead I should let God take care of it. Before I am to be intimate with another child of God, I must truly be intimate with God. We thank you Father. We will show you our love. Amen.

This video was so intense and as much as I usually don’t comment on YouTube videos, I feel like I should really drop a few lines under this one.

I’ll start with the fact that my fiancée and I split last month. And since then, God made my life turn upside down. Modern dating is done so wrong and there are a lot of people that proclaim wrong values. What does that have to do with my relationship? I realized that I was also doing that wrong. I thought that if I loved my girlfriend like crazy, to the limits, it was something God liked. I would literally put her first before God even though I always stated that God was the most important in my life. I would break each of my rules for her, pretend I’m someone that I was not, get out of my comfort zone only to make her happy and to what end? I put my trust in the wrong person, after 6 years of going steady she said I wasn’t outgoing enough for her (she was into partying a lot and I’m not really) and simply left me. Throughout those 6 years I used to neglect God so much for her, she was before anyone, if there was anything I thought I could be sure of, it was my relationship with her, we weren’t just a boyfriend and girlfriend, we were best friends to each other, support in rough times, I trusted her more than my own family… But apparently it wasn’t reciprocated. And what did God do? After she ended it, He, the Merciful Father, accepted me again. He changed me, made me pray more, erased my pain, made me enroll in a Bible course and I never felt so happy before.

So, my advice to anyone in a similar situation, don’t rush, place your trust in God, there’s nothing you can be sure of on Earth, and there’s definitely nothing worth sinning for. Let God always come first and He’ll sort everything out for you. God is the answer to everything, He’s the way. Just trust Him and everything will be all right. I’ll end this comment with two verses that helped me get through this difficult time:
    Matthew 6:25-34 – https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%206%3A25-34&version=NIV
    Joshua 1:9 – https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Joshua%201%3A9&version=NIV

Wow. I really needed to hear this. I’ve been idolizing relationships so much lately, and it’s really dragged me down emotionally and with my walk with God. This really puts a new perspective on this topic I’ve never thought about. Wow.

Thanks for speaking God’s truth brother! I used to be stuck in worldly patters, including dating. A good verse is Romans 12:2 "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind." The world says it’s normal to date, but the word of God says that the design is wife and husband, not girlfriend/boyfriend. Amen, God bless.

I cannot even put into words how badly I want people to understand how bad of an idea it is to be intimate with someone before marriage. I made that mistake myself and the consequences of it have caused me more pain and suffering than anything else ever has in my entire life. Please hear me my friends. Do not form the bonds of intimacy with anyone you are not married to. The price you will pay is inconceivably high. Guard your heart.

  21. @evar8959 on May 11, 2025 at 9:32 pm

how do you get married without dating? if it’s just a friend, i feel like there has to be some sort of intimacy there because if there isn’t why would i get married to them?

  22. @Benjones-po2bb on May 11, 2025 at 9:32 pm

Is oral or head considered sex though ? Plz I need to know an answer

  23. @DonnaWolfe-z4n on May 11, 2025 at 9:33 pm

This was something with relationships that needed to be discussed. I felt for a long time now that true love should be nurtured and cherished and gazing across the table at your true love should be fullfilling enough before marriage!!!!! Thank you for making this video xoxoxox❤❤❤

  30. @KoreeMichael on May 11, 2025 at 9:43 pm

Dating is a sin. Jesus said not to even look on a person with lust in your heart, or that is adultery. No one ever dating without lusting in their heart about each other

  31. @chi-beze on May 11, 2025 at 9:44 pm

Amazing video A month ago, my partnership of five years came to an end. The choice to break up with the person I love is something that really gets to me. Even though it’s all for nothing, l’ve done everything I can to get him back, and I couldn’t imagine my existence without him. I’ve tried everything to stop thinking about him, but I still can’t help but miss him and think about him often. I don’t know why l am saying this here.
