Your Righteousness in Christ Explained (Biblical Teaching)
Your Righteousness in Christ Explained (Biblical Teaching)
What is your righteousness in Christ and does God still see you as righteous after you fall into sin as a believer? In this video, I talk about what it means to be the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and how God sees you as a believer when you fall back into sin. We’ll dive deep into the scriptures to talk about who you are as a born-again believer, how you were created, your old sinful nature, and what Jesus did on the cross when He came to this earth. Then we’ll go into what righteousness is and how God sees your new nature in Christ.

Thank you so much for this explanation. This was rhema for me: I was in Jesus when He died on the cross and i resurrected with him. The picture of the pregnant woman carrying her baby wherever she goes was what I needed to hear. Wow Thank you. May God increase you in Jesus Name.
Truth describes a real Bible meaning without having a satanic written added ! There are a few that are written by man kind and Satanism folks . So you are telling me it’s really not well. I found your bad mistake . And your booboo views .why a word witch in the bible is evil? If it’s evil, then you describe between a witch and Satan. What 2 is real evil ? In different countries like the druids, they don’t call it witches , it’s called paganism, and it’s a difference.
I’m not religious at all but I believe in the power of righteousness. Your explanation of righteousness is so approachable and true. so pithy and accurate. I showed it to my children in the hopes that at least they can call truth to power when they encounter challenges in their life. I’m not a Christian ,but these are valid lessons kids need to learn. Thank you.
God bless you!
Great video.
Our walk is only by faith, by faith We are righteous, by faith We cannot sin, by faith We are holy…to walk by sight is the opposite of faith and We must be dead to what We see.
Revelation 3:11
I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.
Today, righteousness is often thought of as a legal category or position. Greek thought uses concepts of absolutes: infinite righteousness, infinite evil, infinite justice, etc. This method distorts the biblical message. In Hebrew thought, righteousness is a path to follow, a way of life that honors God. This is why all those people the Bible calls righteous are actually righteous – in their use of the word. Today we would probably call them people of high integrity, as this is less exact than the category of infinite righteousness. Consider these passages:
Psalm 23:3 “He leads me in PATHS of righteousness for his name’s sake.”
Proverbs 24:16 “For a righteous person falls seven times and rises again” NASB.
1 John 3:7 “Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who DOES what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous” NIV.
Proverbs 8:20 “I WALK in the WAY of righteousness, along the paths of justice.”
Proverbs 15:9 “The WAY of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, but he loves him who pursues righteousness.”
Proverbs 21:21 “Whoever PURSUES righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.”
Psalm 5:8 “LEAD me, O LORD, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make straight Your WAY before me.” (Notice it is “lead me,” not “transfer to me.”)
Psalm 25:9 “He GUIDES the humble in what is right and teaches them His way.”
Psalm 85:13 “Righteousness will GO before Him to prepare the way for His steps.”
God’s righteousness is what you follow after, it can be sought, it is a guide, a path. Righteousness is not a fixed position or a legal condition.
There are those who deliberately ignore or reject God as the standard of righteousness, as in Romans 10:3 “Because they disregarded the righteousness from God and attempted to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted themselves to God’s righteousness.” HCS
We see then that God sets the standard of right and wrong, but people have often disregarded this standard and have set up their own standards in rebellion against God’s definition of what is right.
Righteousness (for us) is being justified in to the fulfilled law (Mat 5:17-48), as explained by Jesus. Or according to His 7 epistles.
This broadcast makes academically little sense, when nothing of that law or the epistles is actually referenced nor explained.
I don’t see who/why somebody will be justified. Forget about being sanctified or glorified.
Also if God is a spirit (Jn 4:24), there is no explanation on how we are made in the image of a spirit (God).
It’s like someone is trying to make a blind man to see the color red. Or the deaf is explaining the blind… in sign-language…
It is easy to repeat the words of others, but what if those words are incorrect?
As Jesus said: Do not be deceived! Make sure you understand for yourself.
The first step? Fear God! It is the beginning of wisdom.
Amen!!!❤❤❤
Please keep me in your prayers, My name is (Raphael) Jonathan Tan. I’m a Chinese, from Malaysia, born with a rare, severe dry skin disease called Ichthyosis, since birth (1996) now 28 years (2024), covered from head to toe, not one part is spared. Ichthyosis is a rare skin disorder that affects the skin regeneration cycle. My skin metabolism regenerates and change skin cells too quickly, instead of every 28 days like a normal person, I change / shed and regenerates every 1-2 days. The accumulated dead skin cells causes dryness, thickness of the skin layer and blocking moisture from entering and exiting my skin, which disables me to perspire and regulate body temperature correctly because of blocked pores. I’m often inflamed, red and hot on my complexion. Cracks and peelings is my daily. Pain, suffering and embarrassment has never left me since I’ve been alive, Not even a day of having a normal skin. I’m a 2nd gen Christian. Attends church regularly, sunday schools, youth…etc I’ve been to multiple healing services, rallies, conferences. Prayed for, laid hands and anointed oil by many pastors, elders, evangelists, apostles and have travelled near and far to find cure, regardless of spiritual, natural or medical ways. Have spent a fortune on medical and natural remedies only to no avail. Please pray that my skin’s basic function will return to its default settings and that my skin metabolism will revert to its original regeneration cycle, 28 days instead of every 2 days. and for my pores to be unblocked and allow perspiration to occur. Whatever the cause is, whether its Genetics, Medical complication or Spiritual Attack, God is Greater than ALL of these. Please pray for me and with me. Thank you and God Bless.

Very good. If all our chruch explain it this way before we get Baptized. Then some people will understand why u need to be born again
In 2 Cor. 5:21 the words “to be” in the phrase “to be sin” are not in the Greek. The text says “he made him sin.” This is probably a picture, an illustration, of what sin looks like – the agony, the cruelty, the wickedness, all put on public display with the intended result being, “…so that in him we might be becoming the righteousness of God.” We see the innocent Son of God tortured, suffering and dying, knowing that it is because of our collective sinful actions and attitudes. Our sin is the cause of this atrocity, and we should recoil in shock and run away from evil and toward righteousness.
Furthermore, sin is an action that takes place in time, and cannot be transferred to another time or person, nor can something or someone become literally sin. Sin is not an object or a substance that can be moved or transferred, bought or sold. To say that Christ became legally sin in our place would mean that Christ merely accepted a temporary legal label called “sin” and it would also be a lie. Claiming that God labeled Jesus as "sin" in order to effectuate atonement is to have God agree to a fraudulent scheme that you would expect from a shady lawyer or politician! If Jesus was literally “made sin,” then he would not have been an acceptable sacrifice to God.
“…So that IN him we might become the righteousness of God,” not "from him." "In" is about association, solidarity, not a transfer. It is by being “in” Christ that we can have God’s righteousness, which is about following Christ as our leader, living and behaving as he did. Righteousness is what we do because we are associated with Christ. It is not delegated or assigned to us.
“Become the righteousness of God” in Greek is, “be becoming the righteousness of God.” This is about transitioning from a condition of unrighteousness, toward righteousness. Becoming righteous is not a status or a position or a transfer, or a declaration. It is similar to, "that we might die to sin and live to righteousness" in 1 Peter 2:24.
The greater context is about Christ reconciling us to God, which is relational, not legal. If an external righteousness is transferred to us in total disregard of our actually ceasing to offend, no genuine reconciliation has occurred. The plea of Paul is that WE be reconciled TO God. The first step in any process of reconciliation is to stop offending. Until the offenses cease, there can be no genuine reconciliation. So, to read this passage with the idea that we are not required to stop offending and that reconciliation occurs due to an imparting of righteousness from a third party destroys the very intent of the passage, which is that we be reconciled TO God.
Brother I’m not gonna lie. I was half expecting your video to eventually lead into some kind of fruit inspection. Or possibly even works loading. You nailed it! God bless you, and thank you in His name! I too used to have assurance issues, but thanks to His lovingkindness and some honest and sound teachers like yourself, I was pulled out of that way of thinking.
Please pray for me I need the intercession of Gods Children
This goes with what Most High has me speak on last week.
This been the hardest thing for me im keep watch to understand more and more and I will walk into
This is a fucking joke
Thank you for this video!!
I am having a hard time understanding why or how the serpent came to be in the garden to tell Eve to eat from the tree, can you help me?
This was a great, well executed teaching. The Holy Spirit revealed a new revelation to me this week that Adam, before the fall, had the righteousness of God. Being made in the image & likeness of God- God’s perfect nature was apart of him. After the fall, Jesus’ sacrifice restored mankind and is in Christ we have the power, dominion and authority given in Genesis. ❤
God bless you dear brother in Christ
I am from Nepal.
