God Bless you guys! I needed these videos
My Girl and I started dating in July 2018,I proposed to her in March 2019.So we have been engaged 4 months now!!! It seems like such a short time when you find someone who loves you and you Love them!!! God is SO good my sweetheart has pretty much everything I wanted in a wife!! I just watched this happen to other people thinking,"O it will never happen for me.There is a time and season for every purpose under heaven!! So for those of you who are discouraged be patient God is the God of the impossible. Our wedding is scheduled for October 2019 so just 3 months to go!!
Has your book come out yet??
Morgan may not know you’re a closeted homosexual Paul, but God does.
How fast is your channel growing oh wow #THisIsAMoveOfGod
Everyone in these comments go watch Jaclyn Glenn debunk these idiots.
A year or less! With the way things are today, people wait so long to get married for diffferent reasons, but people can spend so much time getting ready and prepared for their wedding, but not for their marriage.
What kinds of questions does a premarital counselor ask?
Is Youtube your jobs or do you have jobs outside of it? I haven’t heard you talk about it.
So handsome.
Why is the woman proposing strange?
It’s so encouraging to know that other Christians believe these things. We shouldn’t put ourselves in tempting situations… which is what a long engagement is!
Why do you think it is so strange if a female makes the proposition? Like, I find it equally as weird that you find women proposing that weird.
I think the engagement period should be anywhere from 4-6 months. As a patron myself, I think a great idea would be to do live discussions through video chat where us patrons can both talk to you and you talk to us at the same time. We could discuss the topics in the videos on a deeper level and open it up to further learning.
Great video!!
Ok after 4 months I went to a church for Christian marriage counseling.
to see if my boyfriend was the right fit and the last day he broke up with me.
We talked all about sex. But didn’t come close to doing anything. I’m an open book. It all depends on the person.
I love digging in real deep. Lol
My pastor did a sermon on exposure to your spouse, not physically but spiritually. And about spiritual intimacy being replaced by physical intimacy in a pre-marital relationship. And losing spiritual exposure because of that physical intimacy building up walls betwwen each person. What do you think of the idea that couple can cause a false sense of intimacy and exposure between the couple. And that being mistaken for what an "ideal" ( I guess lol) and Godly relationship? How do you thibk this would affect the path to marriage. Also, how can you heal a relationship from sexual sin in the past? Or is it even lossible to move past that?
This is really good practical advice!
I just got engaged and we are still intentionally dating doing things God’s way! Still have another 4 months to go and it’s getting harder but it’s so worth it to wait for him! Y’all pray for me!
All 5 of the series! Booya!
Nothing against you guys, I love you guys, but this is why I don’t believe in saving sex till marriage. When you do, most (not all) couples seem to rush dating and rush the engagement period. It took me about 2-3 years with both my exs to realize that it wasn’t going to work out in the end. I feel like most people who save sex until marriage get married in less than 2 years
Conservative in dating but that button shirt could up a little, ahem!
use me as a jamesxfraser button
My parents just never got married so it was pretty easy for them. No rules besides consent. I plan to wait to marry my partner simply because I’m not ready to call myself a wife yet, plus I’d like to save up money so I can afford what I want to achieve. House first, pets are my priority to get them adjusted, engagement, marriage after everything is set and whatever happens after that happens. I’ve been with my partner since our freshman year of high school and no, of course we didn’t wait for marriage since I don’t believe in it, hell, weddings/engagement rings are man made things anyway. I believe in waiting until both you and your partner are ready (and educated on sex of course.) One of the biggest reasons I left church was the pressure on my virginity and sexuality as if the church owned my body. My mother has encouraged and educated me as much as she can to tell me to live my life how I want as long as it brings me joy. I fell in love with my partner in 9th grade and we’ve been together for years after, after he FINALLY finishes college that’s when we’re thinking about getting married, not for us, just for our families and friends. It will be very small as large crowds frighten me so it won’t really be a traditional wedding, probably just a small ceremony and a "party" afterwards with friends and some family.
For me, the ideal engagement length depends on how long you were dating. But if I had to choose, I’d say a year to a year and a half for two reasons: the first being that you have enough time to plan your dream wedding (many places are booked at least a year in advance). And the second reason being that you’ll be more sure you want to spend the rest of your life with this person! As a psychologist with a minor in statistics, I know that shorter dating and engagement periods (under one year) are more likely to lead to divorce, as do long engagement periods (over 2 years).
Please not 2 years! lol
Y’all live your life SO different from my fiancé and I
Should I ask her dad or her dad and her mom to propose to her
Love with the series❤❤❤much love Morgan’s
Morgan acts like she is on drugs.
If all sin is equal why are you so hateful towards gays when you have tattoos? Such a hypocrite. When I was Christian I was never like you filled with such disdain for others. I don’t know who you learned this from but I was taught that Christ loved and spent all his time with outcasts and sinners. You guys are a bad representation of Christians in general. Please stop this nonsense….you give Christians a bad name.
My fiancé and I were planning to be engaged for 6 months, but cut it down to 3 months
Hi how about after your married what is your opinion about not nice in-laws
It’s only 2 minutes into the video and they’re already saying women Shouldn’t propose to men because it’s weird.
Why is it the only Christian thing you guys speak on are about marriages(even though marriage predates Christianity). How about spending free time being constructive, charity, finding friends, insecurities, self doubt, self care, being a good person, different types of prayers/verses you fall back to during rough times? Or maybe helping out others and how you go about doing that. So far from your vids, Christian life looks drab and boring.
loved this video! you guys are such an inspiration!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WRITING A BOOK YOU GUYS
Romans 10:13 "For WHOSOEVER shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved!" God bless you all and much love to you no matter our differences, especially from our Lord Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son!
Hey guys
I personally would say between 6 and 8 months is an ideal engagement time, but obviously it depends on some other factors and is not the same for everyone 🙂
I wish I knew earlier that you shouldn’t keep dating for a very long time, and that engagement shouldn’t be too long. My fiancee and I are already together for over 5 years (4 years dating and the rest engagement) and it will still be 8 months untill we’re finally getting married. I should have known that it shouldn’t take that long at least two years ago so I would have been wiser in this regards (and already be married).
