I love that Psalm 119:18 was mentioned. And starting out with reading the Bible that way.

Jesus grant me strength. I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom, I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. I’m trying to balance everything but Lord I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. Jesus hear my prayers.

I’m not Christian, but as mashiach was, a torah loving obedient Jew, but I love this format, and as I’ve been doing studies on these very topics with our brethren, I’m thankful for your gentle but certain scriptural insights.

I always find your videos timely and useful. One wish is that in the description you’d have the key takeaways. So insightful, do this would help “list people” like me.

Are there discussion questions that go along with Heart and Habits book?

  25. @ericbotelho73 on April 15, 2025 at 9:02 pm

It’s only by Gods grace that the church has survived. I’ve never seen such opposite opinions teachings on ways of how things should be done in anything in my life and this revelation came to just this moment is that we do absolutely nothing but surrender and he does everything. Honestly it probably only has survived because he always has just enough amount of people that just shut up and let him do his thing

This is great stuff, as I start my day I ask the Lord to direct me, what do you want me to focus on, I’ve suffered bipolar most of my life, as He’s renewing my mind, He’s dealing with self-righteous pride a product of my low self esteem striving to be perfect etc, as I allow Him to teach and heal my mind through His word, He does.!! The model He uses as a goal of what a godly man thinks and feels is Himself through His word, I cross reference everything now for example ephesians 4:23. 5 verses before and 5 after for full context. The Holy Spirit takes God’s word and literally renews my mind . It’s slow steady and sometimes very painful, but I’m being transformed into the very image and likeness of Jesus, by Jesus Himself. Thank you for this program it’s really anointed truth and practical application, and it just proves again that God truly guides me along this road of sanctification. Thank you.

My last pastor was a pedophile and the deacon stole a fellow church member’s personal property.. I was trying to avoid criminality. I have to expose my innocent children to this criminality or I’m not d walking in Christ? I have forgiven. Don’t I have to protect my family?

  28. @periphron on April 15, 2025 at 9:06 pm

You nailed it that genuine faith in the Christ of Scripture, rather than sentimental faux-faith in the pretend Jesus of your imagination, is encapsulated in Romans 12.2: "be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind." The emphases are on TRANSFORMATION and the MIND, and once those are regenerated, the heart will follow. If your heart is leading your mind, you’re still under the dominion of Satan. And bingo: it’s transformation of the mind in Christ taking the place of conforming to the world ruled by Satan.

But I disagree in that you cannot renew your mind without reading, if nothing else, the Word of God. There are plenty of Bible reading plans out there. Put yourself under a pastor who does not replace Bible reading with distracting activity.
