I stuggled so much to ask god for worldly things and felt emberassed but the first time i did, he helped me. It took a while to admit, that i can truly ask. I always struggled with asking for help but god helps me to overcome that. I just need to be more consistend. I feel ashamed too easily and get too lost in daily struggles so i feel even more ashamed because god is so much more worth thinking of then this problems.

I have a few questions. Why do we pray for Gods will to be done when he already plans on doing it anyways? Why do we request things in prayer if he ultimately knows what is best for us and does it anyways? Why do we pray when God knows what we are thinking all the time? Please respond with your thoughts 🙂
The way God answers prayers is very interesting, but it shows the character of God. God isnt some genie, where you ask your wishes and they are granted, prayer is for God to show you He is working. Often before something intense I just pray simply "God I want you to use this and help me to learn" and sometimes after that prayer ive learned some hard lessons I didnt want to, or just had a bad experience, but I cannot deny that my prayer was answered, and the time was used for God to grow me in some way.
And of course there have been times when I just simply pray for something I feel like I need that day, and God grants it.
No doubt its something I can hold onto to just know without even a small doubt in my mind God is here, God is working in my life, and God wants the best for me.

What if praying this way doesn’t make me feel… free. Like I HAVE to follow this layout (which I feel like I have to because it’s what’s said in The Bible). What if it feels like I’m checking boxes. And does this "layout" of prayer applies to every single prayer or only in morning, noon, and/or evening? Because if it’s every single prayer even the ones that are like "God, thank you for XYZ", it can take a lot of time, and I don’t want to say that God’s not worthy enough for me to spend time with Him, but it can feel controlling when I feel like I have to pray for hours every day.

I’m afraid to pray boldly, especially when I haven’t prayed for a while because I feel like I am not worthy of the things I’m asking for.
Please help! I’m so puzzled. My focus seems to only be focusing singularly between the persons in the Trinity. If I focus on let’s say, the Father only, Jesus and the Holy Spirit become to me as if just ideas. I know they’re practically the same God as one, but I’m really struggling.
