I just had a quick question. Are you supposed to forgive those who don’t ask for forgivness or of those who aren’t sorry? I’m asking if we should forgive those people who have wronged us but still believe as though they have done nothing wrong.

I’ve done a wrong-doing towards my friends, they won’t budge to forgive and are holding a tight grudge but I’ve been trying to send some kind of message on why they should and why I could never do it again without talking to them obviously. I pray this video gets to them so they will learn its not a good idea to take revenge and stay mad.

How do I forgive if I’m afraid the situation will happen again, even if this person changed and is trying to do better how do I forgive without it coming off as pretending because it’s hard to forget how someone made you feel in a negative way.
What if someone did something really horrible to you… like idk I think I need God’s healing first

God, I don’t know who is my enemy. I think what appears here are all my friends who once supported me. Although they have different purposes, I know that this is human nature. I can forgive them! But I can‘t forgive the 330,000 children who were sexually assaulted by Catholic priests! Hillary, Clinton, Obama, Biden, they sexually assaulted children, child trafficking, child abuse pizza door incident! I can’t forgive these people!

Ive been praying to be able to forgive someone who abused me and my family. Ive been having nightmares where my rage and hatred consumes me and its terrifying, i dont like having hatred and anger in my heart. Another I want to add was Jesus had a parable of how the king forgave his servant that was in 1,000,000 dollars of debt and the servant walked out of the castle and tortured another man because he owed him 100 so then the king heard about it and sent the servant to be tortured every day until he can payback his debt
I got this rn I been getting closed and right before my birthday o saw a kid in the gc my brother is in say I looked like someone ( my brother hadn’t had his phone since months he was grounded) and I opened the chat and it was a video of a girl tht looked like me but the opposite of looking good (ugly) and said it looks like ur sister and I spoke with his mom and she said “ it looks like u tho” and I have always been conscious about my looks so this did it worst all I wanted was an apology but I don’t know what to do

Pray for me and my wife you guys. My wife and I are going through a very difficult time. We separated and she became alcoholic and started an extramarital affair. After all that was done my heart has been hardened and I’m really struggling with forgiveness. We are seriously considering divorce. PLEASE PRAY FOR US!!!
True..Forgiveness is the most difficult thing to do, but the most beautiful gesture. Not only to others but also yourself. What goes around comes around.

Also, keep in mind just because you forgive someone does not mean they are free from the consequences of their actions in a legal sense. If they broke the law of the state when sinning against you, even if you forgive them, the state must still decide whether if it is going to grant forgiveness or seek justice for the crime that was committed.

Amen, brother. I was recently betrayed by my lifelong best friend and have be tracking down sermons/lessons about forgiveness to help me through. Preaching forgiveness and practicing it should not be two different things, and I ought to be as willing to offer forgiveness as I am offered
Thank you for all the information. I am willing to forgive but the other person is not just not resentful but is still actively trying to hurt me further and is actively trying to destroy my life. I pray all the time for this person and I want to forgive but I am not sure if it is true forgiveness if I won’t allow them back in my life. Any ideas? ❤
