Josh . You pray for God’s choice for you. Really pray fervently. This concerns your future. It is not a casual prayer from others. After God comes your wife. Have you learnt how to treat her. Have you read you must love her as Lord Jesus loves the church and gave himself for her. Do you know how to be a good Father to your children? Are you ready for responsibility. Have you prepared for your wife. A home, etc. Yes you build together Josh. See how important preparation is?

Great video! Sadly, my two-year relationship ended a month ago. The person I thought was the love of my life decided to leave, and I’m still deeply in love with him. I can’t stop thinking about him, and despite all my efforts to win him back, nothing has worked. I feel so frustrated and can’t imagine being with anyone else. No matter what I do, he’s always on my mind, and I miss him terribly.

That last one is a gem. When a woman is submissive (because she feels safe and trusts the man) and when she invites him to care for her, that can be very fulfilling to a man’s heart. I believe a woman shows honor and respect for her man when she lets him care for her, and when she acknowledges that he is her provider above anyone else.

5:51 When you meet someone when you’re in your 40’s I feel like this is a bit silly. We’re getting older and men my age all LOOK 40 and I’m FINE with that. I don’t want someone who looks younger than me. I’m 40, I look 35 tops, my body looks better than most young women, maybe an 8. I don’t get this. Marriage is not meant to bring happiness. It’s meant to make one holy.
The worst of each spouse will be exposed from each spouse as they journey through life together. Happiness will naturally flow once they learn to have a God centered marriage.

Physical attraction comes first but I will never fall in love with or marry a woman who doesn’t respect me. So respect is often paramount. If a woman can do this for a man, a lot of other issues which could arise will actually take care of themselves.
The sad thing is, there will probably be a plethora of people showing the feminist infection which has run rampant through the church in this comments section. In almost every domain women have been programmed to disrespect men, especially family men.
Enhance his joy.
Respect his non-relational attributes. (things men respect in other men; hard worker, soldier, provider, etc.)
If you are attracted to him physically.
Accept his emotions without trying to change him. (often different than women’s emotions)
Responses to his good & bad behavior are reasonable.
Allow yourself to need him.

Its imperative that a sister not press him for a relationship. Be welcoming & receptive. If he’s serious & intentional to marry, he will convey that. Let God guide you both.
