I wonder if I’m looking in the wrong places…. Seems like not many are looking to seek God first….

    Ephesians 5:21-33 CEV
Honor Christ and put others first. A wife should put her husband first, as she does the Lord. A husband is the head of his wife, as Christ is the head and the Savior of the church, which is his own body.

    I don’t believe there is a even a one happy christian marriage….

  6. @AustinKloud on August 13, 2025 at 12:13 am

Speaking from my experience- I was married and we had our first son die, subsequently it destroyed our marriage. We went to councilors – we were told that 99% of married couple divorce when they loose a child.
Since my marriage ended- I just have not had any desire to get remarried.
As a Christian man, I do enjoy your videos…. But I feel like I’m meant to be alone and I’m ok with that. I don’t follow your channel but your videos pop up once in a while…. So I watch them. God bless you and take care.

I’ve been reading Psalm 31:1-3 for a while before this video was uploaded. + I hope this helps anyone that might read my comment. I’m doing some journaling to help me make sure that I’m following God’s voice not mine or the devil

I pray for my future wife that she makes God her #1 love and only #1 love that her relationship with Him takes precedence above all other things that she allows Him to be seated on the throne of her heart and that nothing else on this earth below this earth or beyond this earth ever takes His place. And when she is ready and I’m ready we begin that relationship that flourishes into marriage and one day have beautiful children we can dedicate to the Lord

Should a Seventh Day Adventist and a Catholic marry?

  13. @Thryve93 on August 13, 2025 at 12:26 am

I waited 27 years and after praying, I met someone that I believed was the one he sent me and the one I would marry. Unfortunately the devil took her and made her feel like she’s apart of the LGBT community. Over a year later I still pray for her every single day and that feeling that she’s the one hasn’t gone away.

Thank you for your ongoing godly wisdom Mark. I will just have to Psalm 31:15 this thing…trusting that my time is in HIS hands. Even if I end up alone, I will continue to fall more deeply in love with Jesus and loving the people around me. God bless you, your family and everyone on this thread. Much love from Miami XOXO

God bless you too Mark. You have really become a matured teacher of Christ through these years. Actually I haven’t been watching your videos for nearly 3 years….and after these 3 years gap…I can really see the difference in your teaching for the benefit of God’s people. Thanks be to God. Amen.

"Your feelings follow your choices." I’ve never heard it put that way, but this is very much true. Emotions reflect how your desires and expectations line up with your foundation of what you believe and your interpretation of your present situation. If your hope is in God, circumstance will not easily shake you. When you submit your desires and interpretations to God, daily (the ones that excite you as well as the ones that concern or anger you), your response will be guided by God, not your own understanding. Then your emotions will reflect your faith in God instead of your submission to circumstances and your desires.

    Love is a choice.

Thanks for sharing! I can appreciate this! Discussing the foundation of God’s word is so essential. Especially because God created all things, spoke His word for them to be and it was exactly how God spoke them into being. Like Isaiah 55:8-12 is a good passage to understand. When I think about God’s word’s purposes in our lives, I constantly see how essential it is for us to meditate on God’s word regarding how we are to think and be amongst one another. His love is eternal and I like how 1 Corinthians 11:3 gives us guidance on the relationship of marriage. This reminds me that knowing God’s covering and plans for the family is so crucial to understand for a lasting relationship. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith, whereby we receive faith assurance that God’s holy word will be accomplished. Also, how we can look back, reflect on how God has been faithful and in what ways He has been faithful in the past.

As a 25 year old field construction boilermaker that works between 50-84 hours a week, i have a hard time meeting folks. It’s very hard to trust god timing at times.

How do you know all this ?

  33. @toml.8210 on August 13, 2025 at 12:48 am

I think#1 is where I am. I think he called me to be with someone with a similar past- being hurt by ungodly partners- and now I have someone that desperately needs my help to come to Jesus in healing.

  34. @divineprovidence803 on August 13, 2025 at 12:50 am

I do hope. God bringing her into my life in his timing is what I’m waiting for.

  35. @peggy-jaynejordaan1959 on August 13, 2025 at 12:52 am

Yes Mark. Nr.4 is personally for me essential.. Regards from The Netherlands

  36. @tinatommazina9505 on August 13, 2025 at 12:53 am

Jesus insisted how things were from the beginning so I am not to desire for you. They are not for each other – she is for him, regarding them two, but do you know who deleted the verse saying I am also from and FOR God? And by wanting you I suffer from God as I say I don’t have Him, I don’t have a King, my Husband. Why do you rob me of my psalm “Whom do I have in Heaven but You, and there is nothing on Earth I desire but You”? So I will not try anymore spend my all energy to show you I won’t ruin your life, that I am not that bad I had to be your glory, to show I come with peace and bot to take your beloved position. Maybe you don’t deserve me. Is it shameful to do anything for me. And so sad she was created for you and you trying to find reasons for her existence; maybe you find them in being submitted to, but what will I get? Do you know what is to be to God first? You are not as innocent and never would suffer for me. What did you do, undeceived?!? How I regret ever wanting you and to show you I won’t do you harm and the biggest love thing I heard is “I see nothing wrong in her”. I am mad at myself. I was never to want you. Whom do I have in heaven but You, God, I bet God said it is Him not the almighty men

  37. @murakas2 on August 13, 2025 at 12:56 am

Dear Mark, how do we know whether our relationship is rooted in Christ? What are the signs of the relationship being rooted in Christ? Maybe a video on this would be beneficial for many. 2

  38. @brandonoliver5304 on August 13, 2025 at 1:02 am

Waiting on God to give me that relationship…. Maybe 20 years from now I’ll find her

  39. @samueltom517 on August 13, 2025 at 1:03 am

Thanks for the great advice. I agree that it may be best to leave things to Gods timing and focus on serving him and trust him to be there for us in our lonliness. It is better to be lonely than have an ungodly partner or non believer. That relation would not last any ways. Keeping our selves occupied in service to God is one way of addressing our lonliness.
