Yeh it’s about living wisely with God whether embracing his wisdom or rejecting his wisdom and spiritually exiled. He still
Invites us to worship and serve

Is it possible for you all to post something about when Paul says in 1 Corinthians 9:22 that he had “become all things to all men, so that I may be all means save some”.

I find it cool that Bible Project’s second liked video is on the book of Genesis and the following which is their third liked video is on the book of Genesis which resembles the order of the bible

The word ‘avad carries such depth—it can mean both slavery and sacred service. It all depends on who we serve. What does meaningful work look like in your life today?

  13. @Jazzfestn on July 9, 2025 at 11:25 pm

ALL languages have words with DUAL meanings. "You have been a BAD boy Johnny" VS. "Lebron James is a BAD dude on the court, man"!

  14. @Oswald__Oswald on July 9, 2025 at 11:26 pm

Your voice is beautiful but I am used to the Two voice, that’s why The Bible Project feels different to me. But hey thanks for the new experience.

  15. @patricehubbard5979 on July 9, 2025 at 11:26 pm

Come thru voice!!!! Thank you for using your voice to ‘Avad this channnel and God’s word. What a great message and teaching!

Out of all the Christian channels I’ve seen, This one makes me the least paranoid and depressed

  17. @AlexDeeks on July 9, 2025 at 11:36 pm

This is super important. You highlight how the word matters depending on context. It also opens up the idea that it can be mistranslated and the purpose of the text skewed to fit mans agenda

  18. @Lusuna-gu1zv on July 9, 2025 at 11:36 pm

I have a question. Why was eve not created like adam? Why did god take a rib from adam and them formed eve? Yes, symbolicly they were the prototype for the concept of marriage or "when two become one flesh". I asking because, animals were created before humans, and god made them female and male. He didn’t take a rib of a animal and created the female version of them.

It’s sad that the Bible Project puts out these videos so that people who have no idea about the language can be misled by someone who has scholarly training but is interested in falsely reasurring people about the faith…

Isn’t it powerful how one word — ‘avad’ — can carry both the weight of slavery and the beauty of service? It makes me wonder… Who or what are we truly serving with our lives today? Are we working toward freedom or bondage?

  27. @Lightandsalt_worship on July 9, 2025 at 11:50 pm

    So peaceful ! Thank you❤

Remember – you are loved! Jesus loved you and gave his life so that you could be free because of Him! He died for our sins so that we can be reconnected with our Creator God. At His crucifixion Jesus took all our wrong thoughts words or deeds we ever did to the cross, paying for them. This is because our sins separated us from Him, and sin’s punishment is death. Ehile we could do nothing to get back to God, He sent His Son so that we could get back to Him. He rose again three days later proving His power over sin and death, and He is returning soon to bring all His believing children to Heaven when He returns, and let those who reject Him choose the only other destination (Hell).

He wants us to choose life. He gives us the choice to follow Him right now and have Heaven when He returns, and a true relationship with Him now. He wants us all to repent of our sins and receive a new life in Him!

A life of strength, faith, and the ability to truly love others as God has loved us. He wants us to follow Him, and let Him be the Lord of our lives. Why is that part important? Because through Christ we will be given the power to overcome sin in our lives today and to love like He does. Christ offers this blessing to all who choose to believe in Him, trust Him and follow Him xx He will never leave you nor forsake you xxx

  29. @JesusthewayThruthThelife on July 9, 2025 at 11:53 pm

I asked God: "How much do you love us?" and he replied:

"This much" and stretched his arms on the cross and died for me and you.

When you carry a Bible, the devil gets a headache.

When you open it, he collapses.

When he sees you reading it, he faints.

When he sees you living it, he flees.

And just when you’re about to copy and paste this, as I have, he will try to discourage you.

I AM A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST, I have made the commitment

We are saved through him! The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit is infinite and eternal, and shall reign over all creation forever! t

Good and terrible are not mutually exclusive. Take the fear of the Lord and the Name of Jesus.
