Unchanging word would say I shouldn’t get a divorce unless I’m cheated on… but I’m verbally abused, manipulated and controlled by my husband is not a Christian… The only reason I’m staying and have given 4 babies to my husband is because of what the Bible says. Can you please give me advice. Give me hope. Because it’s been 8 years. I don’t know how much longer I’m supposed to put up with it. He won’t let me go to church, he threaten to divorce me if I continued to take my kids with me to church and in the Bible it says to obey my husband. So I stopped going. God uses our pain for the good but I can’t even worship at home without my husband coming in and getting angry over it. My kids are seeing this! I need help and I need someone to bring some light to me to know, if I leave I don’t want to have made the wrong decision. I have been going back and forth for so long. I know we are going to face troubles but please give me empowerment and understanding on what I should do.

Very deep message Kaci!! Makes me think of Rom 8:28. All things in and of themselves are not good, but all things work together for good. God takes our hurt, pain, and even our mistakes, and turns it all into a masterpiece for His glory and our good.
It is rare to hear what you said but aligns with what I believe! During difficult times, God is using that time for a purpose! It is happening for a reason and we need to trust God’s plan for us and what he is teaching us at every moment. So cool to hear what I think from you!

2. Relocate to Atlanta from Chicago
3. cut off TOXIC and codependant family members

How real is your God? People do not seriously explore if Hod is real at all. Christians who look up to a personal God up in the sky should by now, be awakening to the truth that God is not who or what they hold IT out to be. As it would, in all probability turn out to be an Alien Being, void of any love or compassion in the real sense. IT (God) cannot truly relate with human feelings of pain and suffering, like we do. If IT truly can relate with the myriad forms of human suffering, pain, loss, lack, hunger, poverty, devastating consequences of wars where the innocent children and civilians are subjected to fear and eventual deaths and separation. Instead, we humans feel love and compassion far more than this ‘god’. In ISAIAH 45:7, "the Lord says, "I make peace and create evil". EVIL IS EVIL ON ALL COUNTS, no matter how Christians attempt to downplay the idea of evil to justify god’s idea of evil. Many of us continue to be in a dream-state trance and unawakened to SEE AND REALIZE THAT EVIL AND SIN IS BORNE OUT FROM GOD, ITSELF! The question we ought to ask ourselves is, are we going to WAKE UP FROM OUR SLUMBER OR CONTINUE TO BE ENSLAVED BY BELIEFS THAT HAS NO TRUTH, AT ALL !
My question might be stupid but, since God always knows what’s in our heads and hearts, what’s the difference between praying for 1 minute and praying for a whole night ?
How did you find God?
Hi kaci. I am about the point to make a decision to leave the church I attend, it has to do with a bible translation the use, simular to king James version. Here is the problem, the exalt that version claiming that that version is the only pure holy word of God above all other translations we have here in Holland. All other translations of the bible is of the devil. Now I have the plan to leave that church, though I don’t know if that is the right thing to do.
