How interesting to see Becky Rogers, a gal who grew up with my siblings and I in our hometown of Crozet, VA, acting in this! Her mother was one of seven Christian women, including my mom, who started a second-hand thrift shop called The Olive Tree that has helped many people and many organizations in Crozet and beyond, over forty years ago. One of the many benefactors of The Olive Tree has been The Pregnancy Centers of Central VA.

I am adopted…..I am so glad my birth mother made the hard choice to place me…..I can only imagine how hard that was. God was truly with me and blessed my life with such loving parents!

Las elecciones cinematográficas y artísticas son brillantes. Referencias culturales europeas realmente interesantes. Ojalá la cultura europea se representara más a menudo tan bellamente. No puedo dejar de decir "oh, esto es hermoso" a lo largo del video. Luz, en serio…

  18. R Kirk on October 4, 2022 at 2:31 am

My husband is adopted. His biological mother wanted to abort him, as she’d aborted in the past. A doctor said she was too far along. My mother-in-law worked as a maternity nurse. She and my father-in-law were already approved for adoption. She was surprised when she was told she could take my husband home, he was a tiny newborn born in the maternity ward where she worked.
Now my husband and I have 3 wonderful children who wouldn’t be here without his life having been spared! I’m so very grateful to our Lord for this!
My husband never wanted to know about his biological parents. I’m somewhat curious though.

If you could choose between being a teenager who is:
1.) good-looking, popular, and adopted; or
    2.) an ugly outcast who is growing up with both biological parents;
    which would you choose?

  22. Shane Cateriny on October 4, 2022 at 2:34 am

I had 5 kids by 28 years old. Married at 21 to the only women I have ever been with. We lost our youngest. I’ll be 33 in two days. The lord is so good. I have nothing but adoration and thanks giving for him.

Did this movie come out in ny because my movie theater is not showing it.

  30. TFox on October 4, 2022 at 2:42 am

LOVED this movie…..even though I cried most of the way through. My husband is adopted……and at 50+ yrs old, has never met his birth parents. We have two children of our own. I can’t help but think how my life would be different had his birth mother not made the decision to give him up for adoption so he could have the parents who raised him.

It was also good to see the theatre FULL of parents, teenagers, and I would suspect what was several church youth groups. Knowing what they are being taught in public schools now, THIS is a perspective they need to see!

    I highly recommend this movie!

  31. Angel Death on October 4, 2022 at 2:44 am

This movie was AMAZING!! I loved every minute of it!
My mom was adopted from Brazil when she was 16. Her adoptive parents wanted to adopt after losing twin boys. My mom’s birth mother found her when she was 26. Turns out her mom had lost her, but never stopped looking for her. She hired investigators and found her in America! She was terrified that my mom would hate her, but my mom was so thankful and now I have a huge family in Brazil! I’m so blessed!

  32. Von man on October 4, 2022 at 2:44 am

  33. Michael Adler on October 4, 2022 at 2:45 am

Nope was seriously disappointing, but I would watch that 1000 times before I’d sit down to watch this dreck.

    Loved seeing this movie! So
Many similarities to my life. I always knew I was adopted. If I ever met my birth mother, I have always said that I would just tell her “Thank you”!

I believe the throw that David uses from the turtle position in his wrestling match is a variation of the Judo Outer-Winding Throw / Sode-Makikomi. In the Ultimate Fighting Championship II, Remco Pardoel uses a near-textbook version of Sode-Makikomi on Orlando Wiet. The textbook Sode-Makikomi is applied standing up, but there is a version of Sode-Makikomi executed from the turtle position also.
