This is truly one of the saddest beliefs. Jesus of the Bible (not LDS version) paid the price for all and when he said from the cross, “It is finished” the curtain in the Synagogue of the Holy of Holies (separating man from God) was torn from top to bottom, opening the way to the Father for each sinner who repents and believes in Him. The true Biblical Messiah, Jesus Christ, paid the price of redemption. No man on earth is above another. The Old Testament was works based, but true repentance/redemption through Jesus Christ is faith based. He also said “Go and sin no more”, but when we fall into sin, and we are convicted of our heart, we go to Jesus, we repent and continue on.
