MIDDLEBURG, Virginia – Nestled in the rolling hills of northern Virginia sits a sprawling tree-lined campus. Classrooms inside this shuttered private school sit empty. Once-busy halls are eerily silent. Each room looks like a time capsule of better days. But not for long.
“After much prayer and discussion with our elders, and pastoral leadership, we will be launching Cornerstone Christian Academy,” said Senior Pastor Gary Hamrick.

Wow ! I went to this school back in the 1990s. It was a Catholic school called Notre Dame Academy. Most students were protestant.

Guess what, out Canadian Christian schools are going woke. It is so sad. Progressive Christianity is poisoning people’s minds
School systems are going to have to wake up soon or later when they start losing all their students I’m not sure anybody will ever trust their local schools again. As the saying says go woke go broke !

It is probable that many and possible that most ostensibly Christian schools teach things with which I disagree but it is certain that it is better for parents to be making decisions about whether their children should be indoctrinated and, if so, how.
I have two kinds of advice.
Make sure that taxes are not used – directly or indirectly – to support schools – public or private – that indoctrinate students.
Find ways to reduce taxes so people can afford to provide direct support to private schools or can afford to contribute to scholarship funds for students who attend private schools.
I "believe in" public schools in the sense that I think it is appropriate for taxpayers to provide OPPORTUNITIES for basic instruction in arithmetic and English-language skills and that parents who need – or even just want – help with providing instruction in those basic skills should have the choice of whether or not to get that kind of help with the education of their children.

America is designed to have freedom of religion.
These people accuse the left wing liberals of indoctrinating children, but it is very clear that these anti-government radical conservatives have their own agenda of making America into their own version of a “Christian” country.
The Constitution is very clear – separation of church and state.
