"Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone". Not that having love for another human being, or even a physical relationship is sinful. If anything, this Nun is probably better equipped to serve because of her human experience. Some people are "called" to a variety of endeavors. Bless you Sister!

Vows of obedience, chasity and POVERTY. I guess they didnt get the memo that as nuns you NEVER own anything. Taking and giving away any religious land, building, artifacts of the Catholic Church I believe is an act of simony in the church. My priest isn’t going to take over our church and call it his to give away as he sees fit because he can’t do whatever he wants. I can’t do that at work. The nuns have gone off the rails.

The Catholic church sucks. It’s the largest pedophile organization in global history. Almost 1 million children were sexually abused by priests. How the Catholic church continues to exist is beyond my comprehension. May God not have mercy on their soul.

Everyone knows what those priests do to the sisters behind closed doors. Very disturbing.

+ ALLOW PRIESTS & NUNS TO MARRY!+ For 800 years, priests were able to be marry. Perhaps, there would be less scandals within the Catholic Church.

Orthodox priests can be married, Protestant ministers and preachers can be married, etc.

Priests can be laicized & defrocked, but when they do so, they lose all of their priestly rights within the Catholic Church. This results in them pursuing a different career or moving to the Protestant church.
What if they let them marry?

Also, if they are in a religious order, they are in a vulnerable place, because they do not want to be disrespectful and ask to go against their religious vows which mean the world to them & leave the order. Plus, where would they go, sleep, eat since they have been removed from society & living on the means of the religious order, essentially.

    This is anti-catholic reporting

  12. @Cara-39 on August 24, 2025 at 12:41 am

Countless pedophile priests are protected by the church for decades but a nun has phone/text romance and quickly forced from her order. More blatant proof women have no value in the Church except for birthing more Catholics

  13. @luisramrod9121 on August 24, 2025 at 12:41 am

poor women, they must be biologically frustrated, no wonder they can be found for doing such things

  14. @user-cg8if3eq7d on August 24, 2025 at 12:42 am

If this was obtained in a confession, the priest who can’t be trusted with the seal of confession has a more serious offense than an absolved religious does.

CBS news online gives further details.
The mother superior (yes, the nun in the wheelchair) admitted in court (June 2023) to sexting with a priest. That is a violation of the vow of chastity. The priest has since gone into early retirement “in good standing”.
Now, instead of taking the punishment, the nuns are in rebellion. What punishment?
The mother superior would have been removed and another brought in. The nuns said no. So it looks like they’ve transferred the property to another organization and aligned themselves not with their mother church, but with another breakaway catholic group.
So the nuns are standing with their mother superior and making the whole issue out to be a landgrab but it’s not.

The Bishop kicked them out because they are TLM REAL Catholics. The “chastity” violation is nonsense, just a slander to kick them out.

  43. @nicodio2709 on August 24, 2025 at 1:19 am

2024 and still the Catholic Church adheres to the vow of chastity. Utterly ridiculous. Is it any wonder that young American men and women who want to become members of the clergy, decline because of such a foolish, antiquated rule.

  44. @actual_doge3221 on August 24, 2025 at 1:22 am

Guys hetes news about the priest: The priest, Father Philip Johnson, was initially suspended in 2023 by the Diocese of Raleigh, but in July 2024 was described by the head of that diocese, Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama, as “a priest in good standing” with “full faculties to exercise priestly ministry.” From CNA
