Sin is not about doing bad things but repeatedly doing things you know is wrong but still committed. Lying is a sin but not all lies are wrong.

In its most elemental form, sin is to act in defiance to the Father’s will.

I loved this statement you said, "Sin is failing to love God and others by not treating them with the honor that they deserve".Its so very true.

I am finally free from the shackles of Christianity. Many Christians don’t understand how much Christianity took me. ( and i will never ask them to). Even though i am receiving a lot of hate for my withdrawal, it is better than convincing myself that Faith will heal me when all it has ever done is to trample on existence

Sin is the absence of Love, like darkness is the absence of light.

The judgment itself is the sin. We fail when we believe that the ability to judge good and evil makes us like God. It’s right there in Genesis, man.

Everyone is born with an innate potential – this potential can be fulfilled by following the guidance of God. A sin is to act in a manner in which this potential becomes lost.

Stop tickling ears… Sin —- 1 st John 3 vs 4Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.

Sin is literally the breaking of the Laws God gave all mankind thru Moses. The Bible is clear. This teachings forgets the truth.. transgression, inequity and Lawlessness are all the same. They are the Breaking of Torah. A Hebrews 10:26 is very clear..

26For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. 28Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? 30For we know him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Stop breaking Sabbath people and calling Good Evil and Evil Good..

  18. @arnoldlinder8736 on April 5, 2025 at 8:12 pm

Sin is transgressing Gods commandments. Nothing more. Did you sin today? Did you put God first in your day? Did you remember the sabbath? Did you lie, kill, steal or commit adultery? Man has made sin to be many things it is not.

When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.

I think people forget that the culture in the Bible is still alive today in parts of the world. So those stories still hold true for those cultures, and they translate into ours as well.

1:51 That is why, in the Bible, sin against people is sin against God.

1:56 Like when Joseph refuses to sleep with the wife of Potiphar, he says,

1:59 "How could I sin against God?"

2:01 In Joseph’s mind, failing to honor a human made in God’s image is a failure to love God.

2:07 So, sin is a failure to be truly human.

    Genesis 39: 6 (part of 6) – 8 reads this:

Joseph was a very handsome and well-built young man, 7 and Potiphar’s wife soon began to look at him lustfully. “Come and sleep with me,” she demanded.

8 But Joseph refused. “Look,” he told her, “my master trusts me with everything in his entire household. 9 No one here has more authority than I do. He has held back nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How could I do such a wicked thing? It would be a great sin against God.”

It looks as if The BibleProject is saying that failing to honor her requests to SIN or sleep with her is failing to love God because she is made in God’s image and deserves honor and respect. That is what it is appearing/sounding as with the video showing a representation of Joseph holding Potiphar’s wife’s hand and the text that was being stated in context. Unless they mean something else.

    Please explain The BibleProject, respectfully.

  33. @Panashejr on April 5, 2025 at 8:34 pm

You lost me at “every human is the image of God”

That is not scriptural at all, only Jesus Christ is the image of God and whoever believes in Him and is baptised is born of God meaning you now carry the image of God, meaning you can now live like Christ, holy and righteously

  34. @skipsanders5097 on April 5, 2025 at 8:34 pm

Sin doesn’t exist. It exist for religious people to control the stupid people

  36. @Master-t5t on April 5, 2025 at 8:43 pm

Ohh… this teachings are too good. So, Jesus died for our sin means Jesus died for our failure behaviour’s. Sin not means doing bad as then we judge good and bad too. Sin means a failure.

  37. @gideonanandkumardprabhakar6336 on April 5, 2025 at 8:44 pm

    Amen!

Jesus Christ is indeed our Rock, our Redeemer, and our Savior. He is the embodiment of God’s love, mercy, and faithfulness.

As Hebrews 13:8 says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."

He never fails, never falters, and never abandons us. His promises are sure, His presence is constant, and His power is unstoppable.

PAGES DOCUMENT THE NEW KINGDOM OF GOD – ADULT MEN AND WOMEN ONLY VERSION 3

For as long as I can remember, I have had the idea that the people in the new kingdom of God are adult, unmarried, men and women. Men and women who have no sexual desires. What is the scriptural evidence for this picture?

    (1) The first part of God’s plan for His creation project is the garden He planted east of Eden. (2) The second part of the plan is Satan’s world. (3) The third part is The New Kingdom.

In the garden, God created Adam and Eve and commanded them to multiply and have dominion over the earth. And they peopled the earth.

Adam and Eve ate the fruit and disobeyed God. They and the descendants were kicked out of the garden into a world ruled by Satan.

In the second part, the day will come when each person must make a choice. Do you want to stay in Satan’s world or learn how to live without sin in God’s new kingdom? A child lacks the wisdom and the experience that comes with age, to make this choice. It is not appropriate to ask a child to make a life-changing decision.

Scripture indicates that few are willing to make the necessary sacrifices required to qualify for membership in the new kingdom.

    Matthew (7:13-14)

“Enter ye in at the strait gate, for wide
is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth
to destruction, and many there be which go in
thereat. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is
the way, which leadeth unto (3) life, and few there
    be that find it.”

Jesus says no more marriage (like brothers and sisters that are children of God), equal to the angels.

    Luke (20:34-36):

“And Jesus answering said unto them, the
children of (2) this world marry, and are given in
marriage, but they which shall be accounted worthy
to obtain (3) that world, and the resurrection from
the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage. Neither can they die any more, for they are equal unto the angels, and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.”

In the third part, those who pass the test, the judgement of God, and are thereby qualified, will find themselves as newly transformed adults who have been given the free gift of the power of the spirit of God to live together in harmony, and without sin, in The New Kingdom of God.

I feel like it’s because modern people are doing it as they’re saying it’s not or it’s radical but they’re doing the same things that they were back then and that Jesus said that they would
