THE SECOND CHANCE // MICHAEL W. SMITH // FULL MOVIE
Ethan Jenkins (Michael W. Smith) and Jake Sanders (introducing Jeff Obafemi Carr) are both passionate pastors who worship the same God from the same book–but that’s where the similarity ends. White and well-to-do Ethan is comfortable in his music ministry at the media-savvy suburban mega-church, The Rock; Jake is a street smart African-American who ministers to the gang members, teen mothers, and drug addicts of the urban Second Chance. When they are suddenly thrown together in a tough neighborhood and forced to work side by side, Ethan discovers there is no boundary between the streets and the sanctuary. But can the faith these two men share overcome the prejudices that divide them to give themselves and a struggling urban church a second chance?
Need those willing to be doers of the word
in these times!
Remember the least of these for when you have done it for them you have done it for Him! The smallest act of kindness can be the biggest change in someone’s life. We all want to be valued in life. All I can say is God loves you to anyone who reads this. Be blessed!
Awesome movie!!
What a blessing to watch this move! I need to see and know where my faith is In Christ! May God Bless You all! I pray and wish many of the church will see this move to recheck their faith In Christ!
Just so beautiful
Love and Light
ONALY INSPIRATIONAL
Jesus says to those he heals "go and sin no more!" He does not tell us to wallow in the presence of sinners! There are civil services available for those who choose to kick deadly addictions! The church is not one of them! In fact there was no church in the time of Jesus, rather congregations that gathered to share their love of God. If those who professed belief in Jesus offended his teachings by engaging in deadly sins, they were cast out of the congregations for 2 years to cleanse their bodies, minds, hearts, souls, and strength from lucifer’s deadly control over them. If they failed in rejecting satan they failed to re-enter the congregation of believers who loved Jesus more than the bondage of earthly sin.
It takes at least 2 years of sobriety to separate from the powerful reversible pull from the deadly sting of sin! That is a consideration a soul needs to consider before they fall, because there is a real likelihood they will never get back up! Those who do are rare, and will tell you honestly they made it back up because it was their intention! Jesus met them at the point of their will to honor that commitment! Ain’t no one going to do it for you, only your own soul, then you will have God’s absolute attention to counsel, guide, protect you! There is no other way!
The kingdom of God is within, which every soul that crosses the threshold to everlasting life must discover for themselves. No person can save your soul, only God has that power!
This movie sucks because it indulges sin rather than absolutely rejecting it! Once a philosopher, twice a fool! A fool will never enter the kingdom of God! Those who remain in church environments for pay are fools!
Do not be fooled and think you will find God in a church. You will not. You will find God in your soul, when you are ready, willing, and committed to that purpose. You may find other souls in churches who find God, and you may not! It is up to you! Amen!
I watched crap for some time.
Religion is crap
I can tell already, ,it is going to a good one…..Thank You
In a Christian movie, a scrolled tape frequently disrupts what could have been a good movie because the uploader appears to be more concern with copy rights instead of the message God ‘s impact will not compete. Forgiveness is given, but I personally shall not click on any site with this name on it.
What we need to know about ourselves from God’s Word and our only hope of being justified before a Holy and righteous God: [WHY WE HAVE NO HOPE IN OURSELVES: Mk. 7:20-23 And he (Jesus) said, That which comes out of the man, that defiles the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things (sins) come from within, and defile the man.] [WHY WE NEED A SAVIOR: Rom. 3:10-28 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that does good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes. Now we know that what things so ever the law says, it says to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his (God’s) sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ to all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believes in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Joh. 3:16 For God so loved the world (us), that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Joh. 14:6 Jesus said to him (us), I am the way (salvation), the truth (assurance), and the life (eternal): no man comes to (God) the Father, but by me (God the Son). Rom. 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:]
What a blessing to find this movie to watch!! This movie made me rethink my faith In Christ and for that I thank and appreciated this movie! I hope and pray many of the church to watch this move and encourage by it to continue focus on The Lord!! Who Is Our Lord and Savior!!!
We all get a second chance. The issue is, not all of us take it!

6:10, Michael W. Smith and a church choir singing Total Praise. Awesome! A change from the contemporary Christian music he was so popular with in the Christian world in the early 1990’s!
It’s my first time to watch this movie and it’s so beautiful

“The Church is the pillar and foundation of truth.” – 1 Timothy3:15
This was a great faith based movie. Thank you God for putting it together.
Wonderful!
What kind of a pastor is that full of pride and arrogant, full of hatred and callous heart but it will not take for long because our Almighty God will humble that pastor and use him for God’s glory. If you are a servant of God who wants to follow Jesus then walk like He walked, talk like He talked. On the other hand, I thank God there is another pastor who never gave up, his patience was tested and I believe he passed the test well.
