My sister & family just went to Ireland – first trip & a part of our heritage from my Dad’s ancestors– said the church was wuite empty for English Mass & full for the next 2 Masses of other ethnicities, one of the Masses in Chinese. Total turn around from when I visited Ireland some 20 years ago

When you learn about the wise and brilliantly clever miracles in the Bible, this cloak enlarging just seems….. banal. It seems like a wives’ tale that is fun to tell kids for then a miracle of God. No?

My mom was born in Cavan and my father from the south of Eire. I’m the 6th of 11 and we grew up in NJ. I spent countless hours praying the rosary in the 70s and 80s wishing I could be with my friends. Frustrated that I had to share my bed with three sisters. Too poor for Catholic school so off to CCD and the legion of Mary after public school. As I look back now, I see I was the lucky one amongst my friends. The friends who are still with us. I wouldn’t have changed a thing. My cousin is a nun in England and another cousin a priest who is a traditionalist all the way. Faith is love and love builds us up. We cannot build anything by tearing down statues and churches and destroying artifacts. I’m so thankful and blessed that God has granted me the grace to see his beauty and love. Got bless you all.

I felt so much in tears of humble that in those past centuries, there were lot of good and god fearing people. And thay become before God and country men, Saints of Almighty God. What an awesome faith. But this days it’s horrible, even the elect are arrogant and no godliness always deep in materialistic and selfish. If such trend goes on how would we be able to see the face of God. I think these all happen because we are leaning towards the protestant tradition of heresies and lies and falsehood.. We should turn back to our true faith in ancient Traditions of our church Fathers’ way, no turning left or right, just straight to the mercy of our Saviour, what ever the world thinks or says. God our Father, please help us turn to You wholeheartedly. Amen.
