I recently realized something interesting: John witnessed the 24 elders. They consisted of the 12 disciples and the 12 sons of Israel. John is counted as one of the 24 total elders. In his vision he had to have seen himself!

The woman in Revelation 12 clearly represents Israel (reference Joseph’s 2nd Dream). But how in the world could it also represent the Church. Indeed, the woman gives birth to Jesus Christ who in turn creates His Church. The Church does not give birth to Jesus. The Church comes into being only after Jesus Christ’s ministry. Ergo; the woman of Revelation 12 cannot represent the Church. Let scripture interpret scripture. In addition, the battle at Armageddon is held at the plain of Armageddon. No reason to think otherwise. It’s not just a spiritual battle, but an actual physical battle where blood flows. It is also not the last battle between good and evil. Remember, the Devil/Satan/Adversary is released after a 1,000 year incarceration and then the final battle between good and evil is achieved with lightning coming from Heaven. Only then is the Devil/Satan/Adversary thrown into the lake of fire, not to be heard of again. There appears to be a lot of assumptions made by the narrator and his timeline is sometimes misleading. Just my opinion…
