I am 42 & not yet married. Right now I don’t have the desire to be married and I may never marry. But, I know that Christ (God) will be more than enough.

Im a christian 🙂 but its a little bit different because girls expect that PERFECT guy. Just from my experience ive been judged , rejected , and put on a shelf because i wasnt THAT PERFECT guy girls want. Not every guy has tattoos, drinks on friday night, or just fits in.

She said her and her husband don’t talk about finances on dates. Does that mean they don’t agree on finances or aren’t excited about how they honor god in their finances?

A few thoughts on this "property thinking" the preacher has mentioned around 22:00. I would have loved for her to clarify more in depth. My thoughts on this:
    1. People getting too far and everybody (friends and others) knowing too much about everything. Natural bummer.
    2. It simply is weird to stay friends with an Ex. Why would you?
    3. Knowing and having been friends with their Ex before it came to you being romantically involved, may really give the impression of only being ‘second choice’, that person not knowing what they really want and generally the high risk of getting biased, intrigue within friendship and other things that are actually making things very complicated, friendships breaking over relationships.

Don’t tell me nobody would be affected by that, not even Christians. It is this dating culture in the West that has crept into Churches as well. What happened to: Let me think through it, pray about it, counsel through it BY MYSELF, then WITHOUT getting physically approach the other person and NOT experimenting á la ‘let’s see where this leads’ – deciding mutually to move on either with marriage or with partition. What happened to ‘let’s be friends and have a mutual goal’ instead of ‘oh this might be potential romantic/wife/husband material’ in the first place. This is actually imho what is messing up things a lot. We as a Church and grown ups in general need to get past that.

    Thank you for this message.

Stop searching for the right person and become the right person. You won’t have healthy relationships if you have a toxic relationship with yourself. Love yourself to completeness.

Thank you so much for this amazing series. Thank you for recognizing that relationships are an important aspect of a Christian’s life. I’ve really enjoyed Pastor Bianca. As a single Christian who doesn’t know much about dating, this is a wonderful series. May God keep blessing and guiding all our relationships.
