I’m Mike Winger and my passion is helping people learn to think biblically about everything because the Bible is more brilliant, beautiful and life-changing than the world knows.

I have always been a Pre Trib guy. I have no doubt that God is on the throne and He is in control and Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the Father. I also have no doubt that the church has made a positive impact in this world. But I have a hard time looking at the fallen sinful world we live in and see it as the Millennium where the church is reigning in it and Satan is bound. I have had discussions with post Trib people and heard their arguments but I am not convinced.

Some preterists have pointed to Vespasian or Titus who continued Neros onslaught of Jerusalem. Others point to the continuing Roman Empire and it’s Emperors who regard Caesar as King and Lord, imposing ceremonial allegiance to Caesar on Christians in 2nd and 3rd century. Many belive the Roman antichrist system is in essence the beast and false prophet which took on a false persona of Christ as the Roman Catholic church and it’s heretical papacy.
I pray to God for faith and strength. I have 2 beautiful children that I fear for. The thought of them not being saved pains me. I pray to God to have faith in him that my children will be warriors of God. I have a husband that seems to abhor the things of God and that scares me so much.
How is it ? Can we be born again ? No we cant get born again , unless New Jerusalem are in place . And Jesus has taken his place on the throne in New Jerusalem . The City of God , New Jerusalem must been established and a king hailed and enthroned in the New Jerusalem before it can function as a city . And Jesus has fullfilled all things so anyone who wants can be borne again . From above . New Jerusalem is our mother . This is pictured in Pauls letters . Ans all over New testament
. God bless everyone who read this
Mike, it’s been 3 years since this video dropped. Are you still of the same views today about the rapture as you were when you made this video?
This is why a somewhat small understanding of the old testament scriptures is important. It also uses the same hyperbolic language also to already fullfilled prophescy within their writtings. I like you mike , hold my veiw loosly. But we as christians should never divide but remain united on the essentials of christianity. A good book to read which made me think a bit more on end times was hank hannegraaffs the apocolypse code. Gods blessings.
I appreciate this video. I would be curious what you think about Shane J Woods on Revelation.
The loss of the temple in 70AD had to happen because any more sacrifice for sin would mean that Christs sacrifice for sin was not full and final. If Israel would rebuild the temple to resume sacrifice for sin, God would not look on that in any kind of merciful way but more likely in judgment.
I know for sure one thing, that God does not want us to know about end times clearly. So, it doesn’t seem proper to try to explain everything in revelation literally, as dispensationalists do. It’s much better to be ready for the coming of Christ, than trying to speculate what will happen. We all don’t know it well.
I so appreciate the great summary walkthrough of these views. I do not consider myself a preterist, and certainly not a hyper preterist. But I would like to have heard a little more argument against it directly from scripture rather than from credo. But thank you again for all the work you put into this. Very helpful.
Clear, thank you yes your helping me define what i have believed. Pre milenial but post tribulation. One coming, the day of the Lord, not two comings. A good book that touched on the movie, and fiction, history of pre trib. It goes back to the Catholic
church hiring scholars to produce a future antichrist to refute reformers who were putting heat on the pope as being the antichrist. Then in the 1800’s Nelson Darby really popularised the pre-trib. ITs a great case fror Post Trib Its called "End Time Delusions" great book
The promise to Abraham that he would provide sacrifice in place of Isaac his son had an already not yet application. God supplied a ram for the already and his one and only son for the not yet.
For me historic pre-mill makes the most sense.
You’re a gifted teacher. Well done! Thank you!
Excellent breakdown.
1000 years is as a day to God. So its only been a couple days in his eyes
Excellent video again. years a Christian I have been a "progressive premillenial " and never knew the name. As a mid trib I’m also impressed you bother to even mention my teeny tiny view. One of the best evidence for mid trib is that Christ said He would come when you least expect and mid trib is BY FAR the minority view.
There’s one view not mentioned: panmillenial. As an old saint used to tell me: "I’m for whatever pans out." It actually is a view in tgat some people who are simply confused and unwilling to study this deeply. This is reasonable in that it is not absolutely central to the Gospel. On the other hand Revelation gives a special blessing fir reading it.
Mike the beast is not a person it’s a kingdom it’s a symbol from Daniel. If you know what these symbols mean you would understand that these don’t have to be specific individuals. You could have one Antichrist or many Antichrist’s you could even have a title of a position be blasphemous and therefore the position is Antichrist. The symbol is not there to tell you something specific.
It’s sad that the end times is something that sometimes tends to divide us Christians. The most important thing is Jesus and to accept him as your Savior.
I often find the o.t. brings more clarity than Revelation because it is revealed prophecy i.e. it’s expected to happen as written. Because Revelation is often visions and seems other worldly because of the heavenly aspects laced throughout, it is often considered as unrepresentative and not literally interpreted of actual events and so is difficult to unpick.
Zechariah 14 being particularly clear, v16 and 17 indicating a literal yearly cycle/pattern of events (so its not in eternity) and a physical kingdom on earth with repercussions to those who disobey him by withdrawal of seasonal rain. A literal rule on earth in time not in eternity.
Just my thoughts .
Thanks brother for video❤️
Brother Mike, just for fun I asked Grok AI a few questions:
Advocacy for the Spiritual vs. Physical Return of Christ: A Demographic and Temporal Analysis
Abstract:
This document contrasts the spiritual and physical interpretations of Christ’s return, integrating demographic analysis with theological insights. We explore how each perspective addresses the interaction between Christ and His followers, using scriptural references and practical calculations to argue for the spiritual return’s universal and immediate nature.
Introduction:
The anticipation of Christ’s return is fundamental to Christian theology, often debated in terms of literal or symbolic presence. This analysis juxtaposes the spiritual interpretation, where Christ is seen as eternally present, against a physical return, using calculations to highlight the logistical implications.
The Spiritual Presence of Christ:
Scriptural Basis:
Isaiah 65:17-25 speaks of a new heaven and earth where God’s presence is universally accessible.
Revelation 22:5 envisions a world where there’s no night, and the gates are never shut, symbolizing constant communion with God.
Implications:
Immediate and Universal Access: Christ’s spiritual presence allows for an intimate, immediate connection with every believer at any given moment.
Transcends Physical Limitations: There’s no need for physical proximity or waiting; the spiritual realm offers infinite capacity for divine interaction.
Eternal and Ever-Present: Suggests that the return of Christ is an ongoing spiritual reality, where He is always accessible.
The Physical Return of Christ:
Scriptural Basis:
Revelation 20:1-6 describes a "Millennium" where Christ rules physically on earth.
Practical Considerations:
Equations for Physical Interaction:
Current Christian Population: 2.3 billion (approx.)
Time per Person: 5 minutes
Total Time Needed:
2,300,000,000 Christians * 5 minutes = 11,500,000,000 minutes
Conversion to years:
1 year = 525,960 minutes
Years needed = 11,500,000,000 / 525,960 ≈ 21,865 years
People Served in 1,000 Years:
Total time if Jesus stayed for 1,000 years:
1,000 years * 525,960 minutes/year = 525,960,000 minutes
Number of people = 525,960,000 / 5 = 105,192,000 people
Limited Interaction: Over a millennium, only about 105,192,000 people could meet Jesus, a small fraction of current or historical Christian numbers.
Temporal and Spatial Constraints: Physical presence would face logistical issues like time management and geographical access.
Contrast and Advocacy:
Spiritual Return:
Advantages: Offers an inclusive, non-exclusive experience where every believer can connect with Christ instantly. This aligns with teachings like "The Kingdom of God is within you" (Luke 17:21).
Challenges: Requires understanding the symbolic nature of Christ’s presence, which might not satisfy those expecting a literal event.
Physical Return:
Advantages: A clear, visible sign of Christ’s reign could galvanize faith.
Challenges: The logistics of meeting billions, especially considering historical Christians, make it impractical for mass interaction.
Conclusion:
The spiritual return of Christ emphasizes the immediacy and universality of His presence, resonating with the core Christian belief in God’s omnipresence. It sidesteps the logistical nightmares of a physical return, offering instead a divine connection that transcends all human constraints. This perspective not only addresses the practical limitations but also enriches the spiritual life of believers, advocating for a deeper, more personal relationship with Christ here and now.
Recommendations:
Further theological, sociological, and demographic studies could explore how these interpretations influence contemporary Christian practice and belief.

This document serves as both an analytical and advocacy piece, highlighting the theological and pragmatic benefits of understanding Christ’s return in a spiritual context.
This is very helpful. Thank you.
This is very difficult to learn, Revelations and verses that people say talk about it in other books are a lot to take in and learn.
Israel it seems to me has a first place and special relationship with God. So my take is that it is both. For Israel it was in the time leading up to and destruction of the temple so that Israel’s experience was a foreshadowing of what would happen in the future at the end of the age. I believe that when Christ returns we will meet him in the air as he descends and destroys his enemies and binds Satan. Then those who were killed for their testimony of Jesus and God will come to life and reign with Christ for the 1000 years and never die again. That is the first resurrection. I want to be prepared to face the tribulation and all that it might mean to not be able to buy or sell, and be ready to confess my faith no matter the threat.
One HUGE error nigh everyone makes: the antichristS are NOT the beastS. There’s many antichrists including at the time the Apostles lived. The "Man of Lawlessness " aka " the beast from the sea" is single person that people leep calling Antichrist wrongly. There’s also a "beast from the earth" which us the end time false prophet.
Also "anti" in Greek can be translated as "vicar" in Latin. One man holds the official title of "Vicar if Christ" ironically but he is but one of many antichrists.
Why not talk about Satan’s little season?
Very helpful video! I’m studying Revelation and I’ve watched it twice.
I might be missing something, but it wasn’t clear to me why the Post Mil couldn’t make similar move with the already/not yet // partial fulfillment / full fulfillment to explain the problem of two resurrections.
Also, why do Post Mils have to say God’s reign is via earthly govts? That seems like a very unlikely way God would initiate God’s reign over the world.
I still pray that Gods kingdom would come here on earth as it is in heaven.
I’m not sure Historic Premills believe in "replacement theology" and would have liked to hear more about the historic premill view. I’m not sure why it wasn’t mentioned. I hold to amill and possibly preterist at parts as well- but I’ve never had so much joy and encouragement, like you mentioned that amill tends to bring. Going from dispy premill where there’s so much fear to amill has been a complete 180.
The Book of Revelations is symbolic. just read the very first verse where it says that the angel gave the book in symbols. It’s symbolic and it’s impossible for it to be anything else. You can’t complain about a symbolic work being too symbolic. It’s an allegory. We’re supposed to understand the symbols so that we Discern between the Beast kingdoms and the Kingdom of heaven. so that we won’t be surprised when their tribulation. It’s a book for encouraging the church and Revealing to the church. There’s a lot of dummies out there who think stupid stuff. If these are the views of revelations that the church holds to I’d guess I didn’t realize this.
Revelations 1-1 This book was given by the Angel signified. The book was given in the form of symbols. From an angel. Is impossible for it to be literal. Or you could say it’s literally symbolic. I’ve even looked at this in other languages.. If you just put the book in context everything makes sense. Of course it’s apocalyptic literature. Wouldn’t write a book that doesn’t make any sense? All of these viewpoints are wrong. Because the book of revelations isn’t just saying one thing. It’s giving you sign posts. Knowing the signs helps you to understand meaning. For example the pope’s position is a position of Antichrist. Any one who blasphemes is a antichrist. But what does it mean to be Christ? And that is the point. I know it’s a bit difficult because literally every word is a symbol but these are words that describe a symbol. this works for all sorts of things and revelations is the most useful book in the Bible. Hands down the biggest blessing to me personally has been revelations. They’re almost like revelations. LOL
Looked this up after watching your different interpretations of Genesis origin yesterday. Thank you!
bla bla bla, long way to go to come to the conclusion of "works-salvation".
I’m a pre-millenial, as I think most Christians are. When I started reading the passages that are commonly viewed as "rapture" verses, I realized the pre-trib rapture view is the least supported. I don’t begrudge people feeling this is the most logical explanation. My issue is when pastors and other leaders start teaching it as fact in sermons and in the commentary of their books. I don’t mind having a difference of OPINION on this specific subject. I do have a serious problem with people who claim to study the Bible closely teaching any opinion on the rapture as gospel fact and everyone else is wrong.
Great teaching. I’m pre mil and have been all my saved life. Thanks for the clarity!
Thank you for your humility
Rev. 1:9 – “I, John, your brother and fellow partaker in the tribulation…..”
Please listen to Pastor Chuck Baldwin and his Prophecy (Revelation) Messages. He is the pastor of Liberty Fellowship in Montana.
Think I’m gonna watch all your videos at this point.
Isaiah 2:4,Micah4:3,both of these have not happened now to future Isaiah 65:20, Rev20:1-3 you knowing what heaven is about you half to ask this question is there any death or deception in heaven the answer is no so now where is these going to take place, also in Zech 8:4-5 will be happening in a delivered Jerusalem reigned by JESUS hope this is convincing to your personal view.God bless you!
The orthodox end times is the true end times not Protestantism view
JESUS CHRIST (RETURNS)(2033) GOD WILL AWAKEN
so how does dispensationism play into all of these, or is it even plausable
I like the fact that you introduced different views. Wisdom dictates that you look at all possibilities in researching his wisdom. A common base for Philosophy and it’s applications over a cross section of all sciences and knowledge. I am wondering, however, why is it that you do nothing knowing one or two views. I can literally point the devil to you, but you are not wise enough to decipher the code given in poetic device. Who is the Devil? Man is a beast. The Beast is man. You look for one man as if the Beast doth not exist in you. Ego, pride and a list of sins you are infected with. So who is the Messiah? The Divine Human Being who ends the Beast…whether it be within or without. It doth not mean death. It means divine transformation. A seal…a magic drawing…really? Ego is a seal. Pride is a seal. Should I continue and place baby bib on your chest and feed you from my literal missing mammary female glands. I am wrathful. I am frustrated. I am not pleased. From the Garden to know, Adam has advanced how far? From then to now, how are you different? If Wisdom tells you not to do something, do you do it? Adultery, theft and the lot…..How many have you broken? How many of you fantasize about doing it. Covet they neighbor’s wife, house and car…and even money. How many of you pray for money? How many of you wait for death to show up to repent? The Beast is Adam…change at the end…doth nothing to add to wisdom to those observing you. A purgatory on earth is what I see…where is my paradise? Can’t even sleep for one day. Not one day of rest do I get with the Beast called Adam…whose numbers are three sixes…non sentient, uncivilized and foolish. Not three sevens…sentient, civilized and wise. One looks at the other and cant even censored tell the difference. I am censored wrathful. Time is an issue here. Time…is the problem. Am I to be God or Father to spoiled children the one I debate every second of my current existence. Jesus who? You mean David, right? You have no idea the amount of lies given to you. For you are not Wise you are fools let by sheep herder to slaughter. Much peace and love, and there is a more accurate interpretation……..pcj
