I started doing economics at university but now I’m wondering if it’s my calling. I’m praying about it, trying to figure it out. I really want to know. i’m 25 finishing my undergrad by 26 and plan on either going to grad school or med school. all i know is i can’t stop after undergrad. i need vision from the Lord. i don’t want to lead myself out of vain or selfish ambition i want to be in obedience with the fear of the Lord
I’d love to know how God made it abundantly clear that you weren’t to do this. How did you know you weren’t just letting fear get in the way and that you weren’t trusting God that this is what you were supposed to do? What differences were there between your own voice and the Holy Spirit’s voice? How can I recognize it in my own life?
How did god made clear that you shouldent be a law enforcement?
Whatever you don’t assume that God is just going to drop an answer about work down from heaven. Remember Paul helped make tents during his ministry, and Lydia sold purple cloth before becoming a Christian and likely may have still after. God cares that you have faith in him and follow his commands. What scripture says regarding work is simply to do it, and do it as unto God. The Bible never says to lose your mind chasing an answer about what job you are “destined” for. I lost my mind about that for a long time. Be faithful in whatever you do.

I am starting to do career choices and this really inspired me
When I was kid “elementary days” i thought I would definitely go into nursing when I went to college… because I was inspired by helping people and treating the sick.. My parents thought that I would go into nursing in collage when i grew up…Every school year, the teachers make us a performance task that “cosplay what you wanted to be in the future.. and I did cosplay as a nurse… as I grew up “ high school” I didn’t realize that i really love about drawing, watching films, photography and editing videos… And one day when I was planning what course to take in college, my parents wondered why multimedia arts i’ll take in collage … they said I wouldn’t get a job there and I wouldn’t make money with that kind of course, they said its better to choose what REAL career path that i should take… so now I’m confused about what to choose… whether it’s medical or about arts, theater, filming?… now that I saw this video… my knowledge has expanded more about what course I should really take.

15 and thinking about the job I want in the future, the idea actually popped up when I was 13 and when I was doing my confirmation (idk how it’s called in English sorry but it’s after the first communion) like the priest gave me the mass and I was like "oh! I want to be a singer!" And since you said in the begining about how god made me, I actually have musical talent and may ppl have told me that, also Its one of my most ADORED passions ever, and the schedules would work for me a lot. Shows how God helps you
