Forced relationships rarely work. It rarely works out for people raised in the church. I dont think you should drag your kids to the church. Let them make that decision as a teenager when they can comprehend and its a choice they make. Plus if you go to church and have someone watch your kids while you go the kids will begin to ask questions and want to see where you are going and want to know why.
Genuinely be quiet and sit down, religious trauma is experienced by person to person, so saying stuff like “it’s the people’s fault not god, come back to the church“ is the equivalent to saying “it’s the doctors fault that gave you a non consensual treatment, come back to the operating room” so saying things like this without knowing the true reason someone leaves the church is mad disrespectful
