When Jesus leaves the earth at the start of Acts why doesn’t He or the angels say that He will have two Second Comings? Premillennialism, especially dispensationalism opens the way for Jews to be saved outside of the Gospel. That’s not how they came to faith in Acts.
I have been a Christian for many decades. I have also followed Mike Williams Ministries and his teachings for many years as well. In all those years the teaching on millenialism has popped up only infrequently- post; pre; and a millenialism with the favorite being "pan"- it will all pan out in the end. I had no real understanding of what it was about. In the last few months through Mike and his team I have come to learn the importance of millenialism and how it is crucial to support the basic foundations
of Christianity. Christianity teaches in its support of millenialism that the work of Christ on the Cross is not a finished work. There is more to do. There is more for you as a human to do. Jesus is coming again and if you’re not ready you are going to hell. That is the importance of knowing about millenialism. Mike trashes those ideas in his amazing understanding of the thousand year reign of Christ. In the 2,000 odd years of Christianity this has never been taught. The bottomline is that what Jesus Christ did on the Cross he did once and for all, for all humanity apart from your belief or understanding- you can be a total athiest and the benefits of the Cross accrue fully to you. Humanity is free to be what humanity is. I have an amazing appreciation of millenialism now and how important it is. It all ended at the Cross folks. All humanity is now holy righteous and perfect and it is not based on your human behaviour be it good or bad it is based on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross. The apostle Paul called this Good News- The Gospel. Now this: there is no bad news in the good news. Once you have this understanding in your brain you will be free in the full liberty of Christ. If not, your life will be mired and tormented in doubts about your salvation and the salvation of your loved ones. When Jesus said "it is finished" the plan of the redemption of the world was complete. Go to gospelrevolution1 in You tube- the teachings are comprehensive and ongoing.
His eschatology is popular…. but wrong.
Very disappointed in Albert mohler in this answer. Postmillennial is not only the most consistent, not only with historical accuracy, biblical accuracy but also reformed theology… not to mention the misrepresentation of the position overall. Nothing about the postmillennial position says we make the world better or make the world “ready”.

Christ Jesus will come ‘in the resurrection at the last day’ (Jn.11:24), and then His eternal kingdom will supercede His reign ‘on earth as it is in heaven’. This world system will be no more (2Pet.3:10-13). The day of the Lord ‘will come as a thief in the night…’
i am the sovereign lord and am coming to establish my kingdom. mark my words brother. if you believe in Archangel Michael than he is already forming the angels army to take back the power of the world in order to get the environment ready for christ to return. although i definitely do think the jehovah’s have it right that Michael is Jesus but you Christians are stubborn and it’s hard to know until i’ve done what i’m supposed to. reigning for 1000 years is because we modify human genetics to take this 100 year cap off. i’m already researching it

(Rev 3: 10) Because thou hast kept the Word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of trial, which shall come upon all the world to test them that dwell upon the earth. This verse is talking about the 7 year tribulation. The true church, which is the true followers of Christ, will be removed (premillennial) and not suffer the wrath of God. If the true Church (Christians) are left behind, they would thwart the antichrist’s plans, but the false world church during the tribulation will easily support the antichrist. True Christians would quickly recognize the antichrist.
That was not a very good summary of the amillenium view.
The 3 possibilities ignores a 4th — preterism or some call it ‘ fulfilled eschatology. ‘
No man knows the hour, not even the angels in heaven. If we were supposed to have an Eschatology, God would have given it to us.

so bizarre – I like Mohler – but it’s like he has never even heard the arguments – his explanation of amillennialism and postmillennialism sounds absolutely nothing like anyone I have ever heard. No one who holds these positions would even recognize his explanations.
I’m a full preterist. Jesus and the writers of the New Testament promised His return in THEIR generation. He wasn’t wrong and he didn’t lie. He came and judged and wiped out Israel, Jerusalem and the temple, destroying the sacrifice system, the Old Covenant, the priests and all records. It was finished.
What’s with the bow tie and pocket handkerchief. He looks like he’s dressed for a formal dinner instead of answering theological questions. Goofy.
2:26 Listen to what he says! A thousand years of peace in Europe. The European people are the true tribes of Israel. Jesus came for the lost tribes of Israel. Jesus had his millennium reign. We are living through Revelation 20 now, Satan’s little season.
Tbe evidence is all around us. Even read Jesus’s own words in the gospels.
It can be a tough one to believe, but the truth is the truth!

I was a hard shell dispensational premillenialist for my entire Christian life until I actually took the time to study all the other eschatological positions myself.
I always had issue with the focus going back to Israel after the church is raptured. No Scripture to back that up. God is not going to begin accepting the Levitical sacrifices again. Christ is the final sacrifice. Hard stop.
I am so glad this is the most time I’ve wasted on this topic.

The reality that every true disciple of Jesus Christ should be asking is why is 2 Timothy 4:8 not a reality in the vast majority of the Church? This love of His appearing is first of all affectional (ie we long for Him to come more than life itself — Philippians 1:21) NOT merely an evangelical doctrine to which we "sign-up" when we are converted. John Piper, whom I respect and admire, did not even begin to ask this question in his 2023 book, "Come, Lord Jesus". I have written about this in "God Closed Church" for anyone who’s interested. Pre-trib, Pre-mil. It’s the only path that solves all the problems and answers all the questions, everything else leads to a physical impossibility, or a conflict with scripture.
In the Book of Daniel, in the revelatory 12th chapter, the author has a question for JEHOVAH God. He wants to know, from the One Who Lives Forever, when will the end of the current age be, and Jehovah’s people will be with their Savior, The Messiah, who we now know is Jesus of Nazareth, King Immanuel. And He replies with the following timeline, which is anchored in two events of Jewish history. From the ending of the daily sacrifices in the Temple in Jerusalem, in mid-March of 597 B.C. when the Babylonians won their siege, until the ‘setting up of the Abomination that makes desolate’, there would be a passage of ‘1290 days’, which we can see, from Jehovah’s counting of a day for a year, to be 1290 years. Truly enough, in 694 A.D. the Mohammedans, had completed the construction of The Dome of the Rock, in celebration of removing all of the Jews from Jerusalem. In order to decide when this structure is ‘set up’, so we can know the beginning of the ‘1335 days’, we must look at the finish of the building and not the foundation laying. Then Jesus states that he who waits on The King’s coming and is truly blessed, will enjoy His coming at the end of these 1335 years. We are led to believe, as the Apostle Paul wrote, that the Dead in Christ shall arise from their graves, then the Believers who are still living at that time on the Earth shall be taken up into the air to be with The Lord. Time is running out.
Wow. Al mohler is a great theologian, but it’s crazy how much he is ignorant of the amillennial position. I would expect better from him.
Jesus said in the last days things would become getting worse
Those who hold to postmillennialism believe that this world will become better and better (even though it certainly doesn’t look like it is) with the entire world eventually becoming “Christianized.” After this happens, Christ will return. However, this is not the view of the world in the end times that Scripture presents. From the book of Revelation, it is easy to see that the world will be a terrible place during that future time. Also, in 2nd Timothy 3:1-5 it says, “There will be terrible times in the LAST days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God." IF Christians and thereby Christ were reigning, do we really think we would have over a billion Muslims, who view Jesus as a prophet right below Mohamad, a billion Buddhists, who believe Jesus was an enlightened person, a billion Hindus, who believe Jesus studied yoga and became a guru to the Jews, a billion Catholics who are entrusting their souls to Mary at the hour of their death, nearly a billion atheists, the LGBTQ running rampant, TV shows and movies, that continually blaspheme God and His Christ, drinking, drugs, and colleges that have become propaganda mills that promote Godless, Big-bang theology and Darwinian Evolution, human trafficking, and a host of other sinful deeds that will be eliminated during the reign of Jesus Christ, our Holy God. This is a good example of eisegesis; reading pre-conceived ideas into the text, rather than simply reading what the text is clearly stating. And Revelation 20:3 says, "Satan was bound so as to NOT deceive the nations until the thousand years are ended."
Amillennialism also has totally UNREALISTIC opinions about this present age. How can Christ be ruling AND Satan be bound and yet the world is in the total mess it is in?
Jesus already came and reigned for 1000 years. Satans little season starded in WW1
Premillennialism is implied only in Revelation. So is Jesus now King?
Those who believe in postmillennialism can’t possibly believe the Word of God.

Tragically, many are not going to endure till the harvest. (Mat. 13:39-42) So, let’s study the events that will take place before the awesome Day of the Lord erupts worldwide. The goal of this chapter is to learn the timing and consequences of these events!
(1) The events of the Beginning of Sorrows! (Mat. 24:4-8, Rev. 6:1-6)
(2) The events of the Great Tribulation! (Mat. 24:9-26, Rev. 6:7-11)
(3) The constellations losing their light! (Mat. 24:29, Rev. 6:12-17)
(4) The Son returning in the glory of His Father! (Mat. 24:30-31, Rev. 7:9-17)
(5) The beginning of The Day of the Lord! (Mat. 24:37-39, Isa. 13:9-10, Rev. 8:1)
Please be careful when trying to interpret the Bible. The Bible is pretty clear on its own interpretation. It makes obvious allegory when allegory is necessary. If you start using personal interpretation you run very close to heresy. There are words for forever in ancient Bible times. Allegory they can actually use the real words. Therefore a thousand years is 1000 years there are over a dozen references to a millennial Reign where it speaks of a 1000 years. I believe it’s also the time where Israel is sanctified.
Please stop thinking we can fix this world without Christ. If that were so, he would have died in vain. He is the life the truth and the way.
What a terrible explanation
Have you looked around at the world lately? It’s insane. I’m having a bit of a time trusting that the world is going to get better…I just do. Unfortunately.
There is also Parallel-millennialism. Firstly, 1000 is a symbolic number. It represents time (as opposed to quantity), a long time, a perfect amount of time and an end to that time. Secondly, when Jesus ascended up into heaven after His resurrection and He gave us the Holy Spirit, that is when His Kingdom came to Earth. We as Christians are the Kingdom of God. He reigns in our salvation, in the hearts of the Elect. Luke 17:21 One day Jesus will return with the trumpet sound and with His Holy Angels and with the martyrs. The dead in Christ will rise and then we who are still alive will be caught up to heaven with them. All of us in our glorified bodies. Then the Earth will be harvested fully and judgment "day" will happen. Rev 14:14-19 The Earth, the moon and the sun will be destroyed. Rev 21:1-23 The Jews all thought that Jesus was going to sit on an earthly throne the first time He came and now people are thinking the same thing. He has no intention of sitting on an earthly throne. His throne is in heaven. If you are curious to know what earth will be like without sin….. then the new earth will fulfill your curiosity. We will still have our memories, but the new earth will not contain any of the man-made structures. (They will all be destroyed).
Many mainstream denominations adhere to the Amillennial position which I believe was brushed off too quickly. Regardless of which we believe, we are all called to be brothers and sisters in Christ.
I am supporting the view of post Tribulations or Great tribulations.
