About Daily Disciple:
Daily Disciple is a ministry founded to help you follow Jesus Daily.

Whether you are already a passionate disciple of Christ or you just want to learn more about this Jesus thing, my goal is to authentically engage with our questions, struggles, and doubts as we seek to encounter Jesus in our daily lives.

I’m a 21-year-old guy and I don’t know it all, not even close, but as we look in the scripture and talk through life issues and culture, my prayer is that you would move that much closer in relationship to Jesus.

You should definitely check out Run the Race, 2018, its a definitely one of my favorites, and has the song Brother by NeedToBreathe and Gavin Degraw in it! It’s about two brothers, one struggling with his faith and his life, it’s a really amazing movie!! And if you like I Can Only Imagine then you might like Unsung Hero, its about the singer from For King + Country music group!

Also you should check out Disciples in the Moonlight, a new movie coming out about the United States banning the Bible and replacing it with a government approved one, it definitely looks really good!

I dont know if I would classify "the day after tomorrow" christian. Maybe safe for christians to watch. I’ll include wikipedias description below:

The Day After Tomorrow is a 2004 American science fiction disaster film[2] conceived, co-written, co-produced, and directed by Roland Emmerich, based on the 1999 book The Coming Global Superstorm by Art Bell and Whitley Strieber, and starring Dennis Quaid, Jake Gyllenhaal, Sela Ward, Emmy Rossum, and Ian Holm. The film depicts catastrophic climatic effects following the disruption of the North Atlantic Ocean circulation, in which a series of extreme weather events usher in climate change and lead to a new ice age.

Brother Sun Sister Moon is a great movie about st. francis and the simple Christian life!

  19. @pritchy007 on February 26, 2025 at 6:50 pm

Joseph (1995) is one of my favourite movies in general, period. Mary Magdalene close to Jesus (2000) is gut wrenching so I can’t watch often but I think is good.

  20. @Jesper-bl2ns on February 26, 2025 at 6:50 pm

My favourite will forever be "Jesus of Nazareth" from 1977. I was brought up with that movie. Every year on Easter the danish state tv showed it in four parts – it is 6 hours and 30 minutes long.

  21. @kylernottingham8787 on February 26, 2025 at 6:50 pm

    Mary on Netflix actually rocks

  25. @jessicafleming7116 on February 26, 2025 at 6:58 pm

Thanks for your video. I am a few years (3 years) behind but just came across this.
I agree I love THE CHOSEN. It helped me to fall in love with Jesus, seeing him as a human. Also, shows his side of humbleness, meekness, gentleness with the children, patience… after i watched it i was so drawn to Jesus.
My favorite movie of all time is A WALK TO REMEMBER the first time i saw this i cried and cried and cried. I was just a teen at the time but i remember crying in the shower after i watched the movie. I love a movie than can make you feel an emotional connection with the characters.
I just watched the movie, THE FORGE, in theatres. It was so, so, so good, showing how a punk kid transforms into a godly, respected man.
JESUS REVOLUTION was so good too. It has the man in it that plays Jesus in the chosen.
    THE SHACK
    FIREPROOF
WAR ROOM ( I absolutely love priscilla Shirer. She is such a good, humble person but a powerful speaker and i believe she truly lives the life she preaches.)
2004 LEFT BEHIND with Dennis Quaid. , I love how the preacher and the church was left behind so people didn’t believe it was the tribulation, but the preacher says, "I knew the bible. I could quote scripture but i really didn’t have the faith." There were many church members left behind because being a Christian is more than just sitting on a pew on Sunday. It’s a true relationship with God.
***THE TRIBULATION FORCE (left behind) was so neat to see a possibility of how the government would implement the mark of the beast and one world government.
TO SAVE A LIFE has been once of my go to Christian movies for years

  26. @jamestolbert1856 on February 26, 2025 at 6:58 pm

I believe that a movie that’s meant to honor God should have good quality REGARDLESS of their budget or religion, they should include characters that both flawed and feel real, the message should preach the truth of the world, and a good soundtrack. A movie can’t be without a good soundtrack.

  27. @saklee1777 on February 26, 2025 at 6:59 pm

3:19 idk how someone could say the prince of Egypt isn’t a Christian movie when the very beginning of the movie starts off showing that it is based off of the book of exodus

  28. @WIGGER_AESTHETIC_031 on February 26, 2025 at 7:00 pm

  35. @fettergraf on February 26, 2025 at 7:12 pm

I am deeply appalled by the kitsch that is often associated with Jesus – ostentatious depictions, kitschy series and superficial piety that have nothing to do with his true message. In particular, the paintings and depictions that show him as a blond, European man are an absolute disgrace! Jesus was a humble Jew from Palestine who taught simplicity, authenticity and radical love. These works turn him into an idealized fictional character and are nothing more than idols that obscure the true meaning of his message. He placed value on the heart and actions, not on outward appearances or images. It is a disgrace how his teaching of love, forgiveness and humility is distorted by such superficial staging and idolatry. I am convinced that Jesus himself would be appalled and would strongly condemn such depictions. True discipleship is shown in actions, not in ostentatious paintings, false piety or idols.
