While waiting for ‘Terminator Salvation’ , I invite you to go back to Cyberdyne System ‘Terminator’ T2 Office.
This filming location, Fremont CA, was used in Terminator 2 : Judgment day
Terminator 2: Judgment Day, commonly abbreviated as T2, is a 1991 action-science fiction film directed, co-written and co-produced by James Cameron. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Edward Furlong and Robert Patrick. It picks up around ten years after the events of The Terminator and follows Sarah Connor, her 10-year-old son John and a protector from the future (as in the first film), as they try to prevent Judgment Day, a day in the future when machines will begin to exterminate the human race.
T2 was a significant box office and critical success. It had an impact on popular culture and is considered by many[who?] to be highly influential in the genres of action and science fiction.[1] The film’s visual effects include many breakthroughs in computer-generated effects, marking the first use of natural human motion for a CG character and the first computer-generated main character.[2] The film won several awards including four Academy Awards for makeup, sound mixing, sound editing and visual effects.

That was really cool of the manager to give you tour guide service 😀
Love that scene.
so the building is now shorter then it was in the movie?
Guess they got tired of people ramming their lobby doors.
they actually blew up the third floor or did they just build an extra floor for the movie.
tu es francais ?
cool..Good Job.
That dude was really cool about the whole thing.
Very cool. Thanks for making this!
hi, i found that the full address is 47131 Bayside Pkwy., Fremont, CA 94538, company occupying the particular building is called mattson inc. greetings.
@sonbuhitsunei That’s actually not an ammo belt, but an internal feeder. You can actually see spent cartridges dropping out the bottom. So now you can watch that scene again :-p
The trailer alone of T2: Judgement Day is even better than Terminator Salvation
Great video, if I ever end up in the USA and in that area I’d be sure to use it for a guide.
To me the Terminator series ends with T2. I try to pretend the other two were never made. I wish I could send a Terminator back in time to destroy T3 and Terminator Salvation. ² – Wow I totally agree with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved the video

Pretty cool.
Good audio work, very well done.
Can someone tell me the address of that building, so we could view it with google maps?
Thanks.
We already pretty much are…
Isn’t it fitting… just down the street is the company that will make the Tesla bot 🙂
Loved the ending morph!!
LOL
oh now i got it! 😛
i know u were kidding man… 😛
yo man i live in San Jose, and I wanna go check this place out. can u give me the address for this building or how to get there.
I went there, but was wondering about the end if u used photo shop or something because those cars weren’t there, unless they moved them. I thought it might have been some part of a display commemorating the film but whatever.
you need way more subs my friend i love your channel
Awesome how the building manager is also geeked by the building history
Thnx dude, but i live thousands miles away from CA.. but somehow i feel connected to fermont, foster city and the terminator 2 movie! and its filming locations, this movies is my best movie ever since i was a kid.
thanks for this, i can’t wait to finally visit all the locations of T2
cheers from New Zealand
@17143972290 Yes the roof is gone
Class video .If there was a terminator filming location tour I would book my tickets today.Great job
I just visited this location. I thought: hmm, it looks a lot smaller in real life. Especially because the trees got taller off course. But I have a question. If I understand correctly in your video: did they actually "construct" an extra floor to blow it up? That must have given the owners of the building nightmares haha. But really one of my favorite scenes and visiting this place was like a pilgrimige haha. Really cool.
Cool vid, Herve. It’s interesting to see a then & now perspective from the actual filming location!
these behind the scenes are very cool
(Carl: muffled yell)…(Other Guy, Oh Shit.)
My dad used to work next door at Credence Systems, and we were here the night the Cyberdyne shootout scenes were filmed. We still have photos of the burnt out prop cars from the day after somewhere in our family photo albums.
What’s really hilarious was the fact we were watching “Masters of the Universe” on a small b&w Sony in our minivan while the prepwork for the scene was being done.
And yes, Raging Waters isn’t that far away on Lake Cunningham.
best movie ever
wish i visit fremont CA someday
Thank you
Great video about my favorite movie. I visited today and had a look around. I was parked close to where that silver car is at 4:07. I guess the overall area looked smaller to me than expected, but then again it looked bigger in the movie with the false floors added on the roof.
@Unclesamslair According to the booklet in the Extreme edition, they built the 3rd floor !
My favorite movie of all time. Just watched it a couple weeks ago. I also pass this building every time I go snowboarding or camping up in the Sierras.

@HerveAttia It wasn’t bad guys, it just wasn’t Terminator…..Overall it was a good movie.
the best, the best , the best , the best !!
amazing! you’ve caught on to something Attia; all film buffs would love your work!
I liked the scene with Carl Gibbons, the front desk guard who got tied up in the bathroom.
cool
there’s going to be a terminator salvation sequel, no doubt
I live in San Jose and have always wondered which building that scene was filmed at. I know I have driven on the street, but now I can find the exact building. Thanks!
Great stuff! Good insight for fans who aren’t able to visit these locations.
one of the best movies of our time, hands down!
Actually if they had used the kid from T-2 as John Conner in T-3 it woulda been a lot better.
