Life Advice to 18-Year-Old Me (biggest life lessons everyone needs to hear)
Life Advice to 18-Year-Old Me (biggest life lessons everyone needs to hear)
Today I wanted to give life advice to 18-year-old me. My 18-year-old self really needed life advice and life lessons about living a successful life that matters. Here are 18 life tips I’d give to myself, and to you! Ultimately, I hope this helps women out there feel like they’re not alone and can take these big life lessons to heart.
In terms of the stock market, those 5 are the “popular” ones but of course there’s a risk factor in investing. Be wise with your finances and following leading trends. I am not a professional 🙂
I can be your #언니 with all the #lifeadvice I love sharing!

Thanks for All The advice! You are amazing!:)
Amen
Hi Maya. I love your content. It’s really good. I feel like they are so honest.
Loved this – definitely needed the advice. I’m 19 and you honestly seem like such a big sister in this video <3 thank you Maya
I don’t know why i fall in love with her Nice voice
Lol the forever 21 advice is so true, I have one jacket from them that has lasted me 5 years but it’s truly a fluke because everything else was ruined after two wears. My big investment tip is buy good quality shoes, it’s life changing
ik I am soo late to discover this video, but I literally cried. I felt like my elder sis is talking to me (I don’t have one, that’s a different part) but thank you so much, I wanted someone like this to talk to me…
I am 16 y/o rn, but I can totally relate!
Hi Maya! Wow you really have gone through a lot but you came around and are in a really great life. I think the community college thing is an interesting point. Some schools are really great and some are meh. But the thing about it is, if you are doing it to save the money, sure it works but the schools that are really competitive you can make some connections that carry over. When I went from a one year college to transfer over to a top rated University, I made friends with more interesting people who gave me a lot of good advice. So sometimes, the quality of the people is reflected in the quality of the school, it really depends on the program as well. I really feel like if you make the connections and get good friends, they can be beneficial over going to school and barely talking to anyone just commuting and not building good relationships.
Ur videos are very helpful and even though I am much older I had to deal with some of the same issues u discussed like debt. Realized that we went to the same high school from this video and in that community debt especially for school is not discussed enough. The motto was to be the best student you can be to get into that Ivy League school. I was lucky enough to pay off the debt from school not too long after graduation but none of my friends had that problem. Thanks for sharing.
아주 잘 하셨어요. 갑사합니다!
Pretty good
Very nice
I really needed to hear so many of these things! Not 18, I’m 21. Your advice definitely applies. Thank you for putting out such great videos Maya!

Free will is a basic innate feeling that every sane human experiences. Having the freedom of choice is what differentiates humans from other living creatures. It is the basis for holding people accountable and for reward and for punishment in any worldly system as well as in the Hereafter.
However, atheism must deny free will, because it can only be sourced from a Creator.
In this episode, we compare the concept of freedom of choice in Islam and atheism and take a look at the predicament of atheists in their attempts to explain free will materialistically.
I’m already 18 right now. And I think this is a good video for me. Ty.
I turn 18 tomorrow, excited for what life has in store for me 🙂

Goodness, it’s almost creepy how similar we are! We both are Korean, had families who got evicted twice, I got my first boyfriend 18 years old, AND I regret attending a 4-year college as well! God uses our pain to empathize and spread wisdom to others 🙂
I want a big bro. All I got are 2 little brothers. .-.
Actually I have a twin unnie she is innocent then me I m 2min small then her but more clever and mature and I love giving her advice it doesn’t matter if u r small or big your personality is important
As a 29 year old, I can smile with approval on these life lessons!
You remind me of myself in my 20s, I’ll save you a lot of time and suffering…find out and experience what it means to be "born again" – repent, baptized, receive Holy Spirit. Until you do this you will chase after things in the world to find peace/love/joy but it won’t last, you will eventually find yourself lonely and empty no matter how successful you become until God reveals Himself to you. I went to church my whole life and thought I knew God, believing in Jesus is not the same as following Jesus many are on the wrong road believing in the right God…FYI effeminate men shall not enter Heaven (1 Cor 6:9) BTS/kpop is idolatry God bless.
