The only thing is this prophecy is already in place. The catholic church has tainted each part of the tabernacle (except for the most holy place) theyve replaced baptism with infant sprinkling, our direct forgiveness from God given to us by the holy spirit via confessional booths, and (some) claim that Jesus’s sacrifice isnt enough and that you need to be a part of their church. How can be sure that the temple’s destruction doesn’t fulfill the prophecy?
The abomination of desolation may not be a person or demon but rather the act of one. Desolation is a loaded term that means a lot of bad things depending on the definition’s source. But it usually carries a tone of destruction. And as you said the temple was destroyed thus potentially fulfilling the prophecy.
Is it a Pastor? And antichrist?
Because the only person to be in the temple is the High priest

The abomination of desolation was the Roman army as foretold by Daniel the prophet. In AD 66 the Roman army attacked the rebellious Jerusalem and was defeated by the Jews and sent away. In AD 70 the Roman army returned and surrounded Jerusalem and starved them to death. It got so bad that they turned to cannibalism and one mother killed and cooked her own baby as recorded by the Roman governor Flavius Josephus and can be read in his book: the war of the Jews. Had the Jews fled to the hills of Judea in AD 66 they would have survived. It was not a world wide destruction because they were told to flee to the hills of Judea. In the Bible there are three dispensations of time: The patriarchal from Adam to Moses, the mosaic from Moses to Christ, and the Christian dispensation from Christ until the end of the world when Christ returns. We have been in the last dispensation of time or the last days for 2000+ years now. There has been an apocalypse for each period of time, The patriarchal age ended with the destruction of Egyptian rule over the Hebrews with the drowning of the Egyptian army in the red sea. The mosaic age ended with the destruction of the temple by the Romans in AD 70, and the Christian dispensation will end with the return of Christ and the destruction of the world. Each apocalypse gets more violent than the last. Paul the apostle teaches to "flee fornication" should Christians flee fornication like the Jews were to flee Jerusalem? Yes they should! Voyeurism will destroy a Christian like the Romans destroyed Jerusalem, you have been warned Christian!
