Moving Toward Maturity – Dr. Charles Stanley

Moving Toward Maturity – Dr. Charles Stanley

When we were born again, we became children of God. As our Father, He intends for us to grow spiritually all the days of our lives.

In this message, Dr. Stanley tells us that it was predetermined that we would be saved to grow and conform to the likeness of Jesus Christ. As believers, if we don’t grow, there’s something wrong with us. Dr. Stanley teaches us how to judge, test, and gauge our growth as Christians. He also explains how we can change our conversations, our conduct, and our character.

A sanctified life is a life that is continually growing in holiness, righteousness, and obedience to God. Are you growing in your Christian life?

This message is part of the series The Path of Spiritual Maturity.

watched. bbelieve JESUS Himself led me to this message! needed to hear. sitting on one’s laurels after success of a thing is never enough. daily and nightly focus on God, Jesus and working our faith in Him/ Them by aiding others, teaching on Jesus’ gospel/Living Word [book] of God required for spiritual and pleasing growth in Christ-likeness living. ‘soaking’ in meditative songs and modern meditation are NOT enough. and also be aware of malevolent spirits from other realm WAITING to ‘soak in’ vulnerable souls OPEN to them! familiar spirits.

God is so good. This man is preaching from the very depths of his soul. God is truly using this pastor as an instrument to communicate his word affectionately and effectively. May he rest in God’s glory.

Charles Stanley was like a modern-day Charles Spurgeon, for example, where he talks about us growing as believers "in our conduct, character, and conversation" that’s pure Spurgeon. Amazing.

Every morning when we wake up speak this Bible verse, “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139‬:‭23‬-‭24‬ ‭NIV‬‬
