I’ve prayed for my 45 year old husband and the influence he has with his daughter and he provides her with money, pot and rum at the age of 18. She lives in sin with her boyfriend and has no diploma and no job. He shows concern for her, however sets a poor example. He’s an alcoholic and smokes pot. He says that it’s none of my business after asking me what he should do. I told him that I would not enable her anymore. He gets mad and pushes me around. I’ve tried to get him to leave my house, but he keeps coming back. I don’t want drugs and alcohol or anyone under the influence here. Should I continue to resist him or submit to him?

This young mama desperately needs our prayers. This was my life when my girls were young. She needs support as she goes through this. This is one of those pivotal moments she’ll look back on and see it as a crossroad. This guy is not dealing in reality, they always bring out the SUBMIT. scripture as a means of control. How about. ….HE NEEDS TO SUBMIT TO THE LORD! Does she realize that baby could be taken from her if he was arrested for DUI and law enforcement knew she sent the baby with him and took the risk that he would not drink? I’m sorry. Both my parents were alcoholics, I had no voice. But I will not be silent when I hear of a child at risk. I will continue to pray for the mama and that baby. May The Lord keep them safe in HIs Care.
