    I am 63, widowed for 17 years.
I appreciate your videos very much.
I can’t seem to get a longing for a Christian mate out of my mind.
I have a handicapped adult son who I feel is one of my ministries.
I have have had 3 dating relatinships only in the past 5 years.
God clearly said no to all three.
I just feel lost without a mate but want Jesus to be my all in all.
Do you know older people who have married again? Are they happily married?
We are so set in our ways at this age.
    Thanks for any advice.
    God bless!

I’m glad he said sometimes quitting is the best answer cus all I’m seeing are articles where written for believers to hold onto faith in the midst of working in a toxic workplace environment.

If you hate your job, just start preaching the Gospel. You’ll either get fired, or your coworkers will get saved and love Jesus. Win win.

I was wondering if it’s acceptable for a Christian woman to work with a male co-worker at a daycare. My husband does not feel comfortable with that. I don’t either. I quit doing that job because of that. I got another job for the spring. Now I need a job not sure if I want to go work at the daycare

What if you are RESENTED for Doing a Great Job and for what you Make??!!! What if my Bosses are working Against Me??

  14. ReneetrustsGod on May 18, 2022 at 8:25 pm

My job is great because I always give God the glory and I have great emotional experiences and healthy relationships with my coworkers and managers. ,I constantly encourage others ( but I’m not supposed to talk at work.. which encouraging others is my gifting and helping others in need is my calling . So I do keep quiet and I feel stuck)
and I’m sinking, I keep hurting myself. I am in physical therapy and I keep crying out to God to release me because I’m older and and I can’t keep lifting heavy items. I would like to go back to my field of social work where I know God will want to use me to help others and give him the glory.

I’m not in my calling or career or making money. It doesn’t even help me with my bills. But I’m interviewing for other jobs and I’m not getting open opportunities from God. How should I be praying about this to our Father?

For anyone who is struggling with a job situation, persevere and keep asking the Lord for strength! The Lord is able to use our work to make us better and teach us! When then the time is right for you to move on the door will open, but persevere and let the LORD use it to refine you! GOD BLESS

    Setting up boundaries….very good advice

  17. y x on May 18, 2022 at 8:31 pm

I been doing myself a disservice by not allowing people at my job to fail. I have ideas they acknowledge they need to change but told it’s not going to change and that’s the way it is. Yesterday I got the feeling that everything is about to blow up in their face but that’s not my problem to handle. They chose for the work environment to be the way it is.

I noticed that all of you who say you hate your jobs says it’s a dread , it’s frustrating and stressful , I feel ya pain , but remember what we are fighting against , use the sword brothers and sister also anoint that place and pray , when no one is looking , command those spirits to go in Jesus name

best solution: be a farmer, ur land, ur rules, ur neck.

  20. Chelle W on May 18, 2022 at 8:37 pm

Great video that help put somethings in more perspective for me. I wish I saw this 3 years ago but seeing this now really helped. What you said about keeping boundaries and letting others fail or succeed resonated with me. I try to help those a bit to much because I didn’t have help succeeding but realize now that was overstepping. My boundaries of my job but it brought me peace to know that I helped someone… is there something wrong about that?
    Some questions I have are:
if you establish boundaries at your job aren’t you also holding yourself back and not showing you can do more if you want to move to a higher position?
For those who are more sensitive ( not having thick skin) how to not take everything so personally?

I feel like my boss is obsessed with me. She goes out of her way to make me miserable and is constantly trying to hold me hostage after my shift has already ended. How can I possibly respect her?

  24. Douglas Strother on May 18, 2022 at 8:41 pm

This popped-up on my feed in Feb 2022 & is very timely.

I am very grateful for the jobs I’ve had, my career as a Physics/Engineer Geek, and callings in various volunteer activities.

However, my girlfriend, KLH, is a very experienced, dedicated Kindergarten Teacher who is having a rough time due to a change in management of the school, in particular. She has stood by me through rough times, and I ask that you lift up "Miss Kerry" in prayer that the Holy Spirit protects and encourages her.

Brother your proposal is not possible, you may have faith in the Lord, I do too, but when your job is killing your soul there’s no way to fix it.

Great words. I do not have a job I hate but I often feel it is not the PERFECT FIT. But I also realize NOTHING IS PERFECT. So thank you for the reminder and the encouragement . The separation and definition of job, career and calling is brilliant. Thanks.

Really enjoyed the video Thankyou. I’ve fallen down the trap of criticising and getting involved in things outside of my control causing untold stress. This video has helped me look at the whole situation fresh. Very grateful.

I needed to hear this. I’ve really felt unsatisfied, frustrated, etc etc at my job lately…. and it’s simply because I am burned out….because of aaaaaallllll of the things you’ve mentioned. So thank you, for calling out the errant behaviors that lead to that. Lol.

They reality is considering you spend most of your life working if you are not doing the career you want and enjoy it’s very hard hard to be happy there’s not patch formula for this issue. For me I work everyday do my part for my family but no matter how much I work I still financialy not able to afford the school and career that I want. So the video is great but still it’s a patch.

I wish my work would just stay at work. I work in the casino as a dealer seeing people loosing money all the time made me feel so sad and depressed. After work I have to deal with my husband’s gambling problems. I feel like I never left my workplace. Everyday I become more and more miserable. Seeing all this sad people losing their paychecks and house due to gambling. And seeing my own family falling apart due to gambling is very depressing. The pay is good but not worth my health. I want to work somewhere that I can make a difference and feel proud everyday. I’m still looking for that jobs, hopefully soon I will fine it!!☺️
