Hmmm… relationships, very sentimental topic. I just pray and hope in the name of Jesus, nobody’s having sex within their relationships. There’s a word for that, it’s called fornication. It’s called mortal sin. Save yourself for marriage and if you do that, the break ups won’t hurt so much. Heaven is real and so is hell. Time for you to choose!

A boy broke up with me when I was in high school. We were together when I was in grade 10. Then broke up and we got back together again in grade 12. We broke up 2 days before I wrote my final exams. I cried for a few minutes and then pulled myself together because I knew I couldn’t fall apart before my exams. I am currently 38 and I have knocked into him again. A few years ago I was at a wedding where he was the best man. I surprisingly experience feelings that I didn’t think I would. I felt bad. I saw him again in this year. Due to the virus he couldn’t work as he is a chef. So he was selling food and delivering it to people’s homes. My parents also ordered food from him and as a result I got to see him again. I immediately felt bad and uncomfortable. I started remembering things about our relationship. I feel like I need to talk to him so that I can heal and move on but I am scared and I don’t know how to reach him. I also feel like he might not want to talk about the past. I think he might be married which might also make him hesitant to talk to me. I desperately need advice. Pray for me.

Dealing with a difficult breakup right now and to make matters worse he is also my direct downstairs neighbor. He sleeps directly underneath me and ugh I literally can’t escape from him. Prayers for us both would be appreciated! Because we both need to heal and move on.

I have been prone to engage with partners who are not equally yoked. I have idolised being in a relationship and those who I’m in a relationship with. I need to repent. Please reader, brother or sister in God, pray for me.

This is so true thank you for your video I just broke up with someone I really loved. Now looking at it I did idolize this person I put them first over my self and I wanted. All I hope for is they find their own way and I can heal from all this pain and heartbreak.

Close the book not the chapter. Every men i been with is a different story and different book. Ever hear people comparing u to others or saying stuff that happened with someone el. They have one book one story and everybody is in it toguether. Also talking about exes to new relationships i dont think is good unless is necesary. They should be irrelevant.

Ok i think i have perfected this.
What i do is when i break up,
    * i mourn the guy and the relationship. I dont do rebounds or try to replays right away.
*i disect the relatiinship in my mind to find my mistakes to learn for the next time.

i’m a guy and just got heart broken. it is so depressing. I can’t eat, I can’t drink, I can’t sleep, I can’t focus on anything. It’s not something I can deal with like physical stress or pain.. But thank you for your advise, I pray that everyone of you out there like me will find joy and grow more maturely from your breakups.

Pls pray for me to help me move on from a recent relationship. It was my relationship after knowing the Lord but we failed sexually. He said he is also a Christian but was also struggling with it since the beginning of us getting to know each other. Due to my loneliness, I compromised and instead of letting him grow in Christ, I distracted him but in turn it also revealed my past hurts and feelings of abandonment. I’m learning once again to trust the Lord and confess my sins to people of God whom I know loves me and prays for me. Pray for me that I won’t listen to the attacks of the devil that I will not be loved anymore and will not see myself as a damaged goods but as a redeemed daughter of Christ.

After the break up is it ok to be friends with the guy even though that guy still has feelings over the girl(but it is not God’s will for them to be together so they broke up)

  34. Drew Wesley on April 2, 2022 at 6:43 pm

#4 is hard when the heart set on someone, especially one the Lord seemed to have provided. What’s currently helping me (through a resolving heartbreak) is resting in God’s ability to provide mutual confirmation between man and woman, make a good way between them, and guidance for them. I erred in idolizing this relationship earlier and overthinking future steps rather than trusting in God with necessary faith and action. This video is gold.

Great points Brother Idolatry was the last thing I could think for the failure of my marriage . As one observation I have heard ‘We got married because it was better than burning for all eternity’. It failed because my eyes and heart went elsewhere…

im dealing with heart break. please pray for me. thank you so much

  37. Scott Gann on April 2, 2022 at 6:51 pm

Do you have scriptural basis for this advice? I’d like to read what the Bible has to say about this sort of topic (even if it’s not specifically about breaking up)

  38. karen on April 2, 2022 at 6:52 pm

    this helped. Thanks
