I have a friend girl, and she’s amazing. We known each other for over 3 days now. Sure, we just met but she’s just amazing. We love each other a lot and appreciate each other so much. We’re like extremely close friends. We want to be in a relationship and get married but we’re waiting for God to tell us when the time is right if he does. I’m not sure if we just try being in a relationship now or wait and see if God tells us to be together. What should we do?

Thanks bro, my pastor says it’s too soon for us to marry after 2 months of dating. We both want to marry with a strong desire, he is a new convert in Christ though . What are your thoughts on this?
Thanks and bless you and your family.

5:20 it would be very interesting to talk about relationships in terms of friendships (not dating). In many ways I have personally not wanted friendships & tend to be a loner. I don’t ‘want’ relationships (friendships) & I truly believe it will take the holy spirit to help change my wants.

Thank you for this message Mark. I am in a season of dating and meeting great guys right now, but I am undecided. In the past before I was allowing God to guide I would continue relationships that God had clearly told me were no longer serving me. I am getting to know a few people and was concerned if this was actually a Christian way of dating

Man i really love this girl in my youth group at church. I guess its obvious that everyone knows we like each other. And ive been getting involed with the church in every way and im worn out. She more into god than i am. And she cant go out on dates alone with me. She lives with pastors. And not her mom. And its not her real parents. Shes 21. And im 24. I dont know how long to keep this up. We are both the oldest of the youth so we did our leadership classes. I dont wanna get shut down or friend/brother ZONED. When can i ask her out offically. How can i ask her out if they dont let her out. What do i say to ask her out. How to ssy it. Its nerve recking. I prayed for so long but i think shes a afraidy cat too. Were perfect for each other. I dont wanna lose her.

I am curious on your thoughts. I know a guy who’s had a gf for 5 years. Known eachother 8. They want to marry each other, however the guys family are very much judgmental and the mother liked the girl until they started dating. They are sinning sexually, he is torn, confused, cheating now, has developed some drinking and has really fallen off track. He does love her despite that cheating, they been freinds for nearly 10 years. So all the turmoils and family issues are common for before new spouses come in. I guess you could say nobody would ever be good enough unless chosen by mom and the sisters all back it up. This guy actually has a really good heart, the girl seems nice too. Volunteers, heavily involved in church and both worth and I think possibly met in youth ministry. So with all this happening what is god calling him to do? For some reason I think the answer would become as clear as day if they quit having sexual relations. But should they just jump into marriage? Or should there be a period of non sexual sinning so their heads can become un clouded by the hormones and other things?

  26. Granny Greanbeans on May 28, 2019 at 1:05 pm

Ok, Y’all.. I need help.. I met a nice guy through a friend; first time nothing really, just a smile and a "Have a good day/night" The second time, I watched him with some intent, and spoke with him some, I felt comfortable around him, which is rare for me with men.. When we all said our goodbyes, he gave me a hug. Didn’t try anything, just a hug.. Surprisingly enough, it felt kinda "safe"?.. Not sure the word.. He pops into my head when I listen to these things, and I hear his name out of nowhere from time to time.. I must admit I am interested because I have dreampt about him and subsequently had deja vu on both occasions.. My question is: "What’s up with that? "

I like to move to a new location unmarried, and own my own stuff, anything thing else afterwards it will happen, what he should do is ways that too many people around you and relationships makes you retarded, seriously it happens

Hi Mark thank you for this video! I’ve been talking to this guy for awhile and we have a really great connection but I don’t feel like I’m ministering or encouraging my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ! After much prayer and thinking over the general situation he and I talked and I told him I would prefer to be friends. After telling him how I feel, I feel like my old self again-encouraging my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ and shining my light.

  34. Reina Virtucio on May 28, 2019 at 1:15 pm

I can’t understand it.it is becoming complicated as the relationship grows old.I need guidance from the holy spirit.

  35. Makayla Cole on May 28, 2019 at 1:18 pm

I believe this is true bc in my current relationship I’m really motivated to pray and volunteer in the ministry

  36. Jesus Lover USA on May 28, 2019 at 1:20 pm

I believe you are a man of God Mark and are called to this ministry but I disagree with your #2 point.
You should be praying NOW, while you’re NOT dating for God to reveal and present the "one." He will not lead you into a relationship that is not going to be Wholesome. This would be a temptation and God cannot do this.
I beleive if your praying now, you will lay the groundwork for the Holy Spirit to direct-in-your-path a woman/man of God.
If you are in fact in a bad relationship and sin is visible, you need to flee as fast as you can away from that person. If you continue in it it will not be good for you and very well may pull you out of your fellowship with God.

Here are my 3 points God approves of a relationship…

    1) is there evident signs of fruit.
Mathew 17: 15-20. Fruit of the Spirit will be visible. No fruit no root.
If there is no visible signs of fruit. End relationship immediately.

    2) Continue praying even if fruit is visible for affirmation from the Holy Spirit. Continue seeking the fruit. It should continue to manifest even more. And pray throughout the relationship. God will speak. HE WILL NOT PICK YOUR MATE FOR YOU!!! This is the biggest lie in dating relationships and marriage advice. It is demonic.
If this is or was the case, you then could blame a bad relationship on Him. Furthermore, if sexual sin is involved, He caused it by picking the "one" Totally unbiblical and damaging advice.
Rather, God will say "This one?" and you may choose. He will never go against your will and FORCE you to do something against your will. That is solely your choice. If you choose His selection, and you will hear from Him, (if your praying) He WILL BLESS IT. You MUST continue praying and staying before Him to remain Holy for each other.

    3) is it causing you to press into God and both of you agree this is God and He says "yes" Amos 3:3
Is that person, like iron sharpening iron, causing you to grow in your relationship with God. He/she will add value to your relationship with God. Anything less that that person leading and helping you grow is the wrong relationship. Exit immediately.

This advice is what I learned from doing it wrong and doing it right. Now I’m in a Godly relationship that will lead to marriage because of this GODLY, BIBLICAL advice. She is JESUS with skin on it. And the fruit is really present, my walk is taking off WITH her right beside me and we both agree God is doing this. Not us.

Thanks Mark. God bless you and your ministry!

Getting married for the sake of license for hidden lust-fulsillment in the name of love? this bible teaching is one of reason bothering me.

  39. Joe on May 28, 2019 at 1:22 pm

I will share one interesting dream with everyone. I heard this in my dream man talkin but it was like the perfect voice, it sounded like the exact way of voice should sound because when I heard it I said that’s how everyone should sound, but in the dream it also sounded like moving water and there was a message in it that spoke and I know exactly what was meant by it but I will tell you what was said which won’t mean much to anyone here, the voice in a dream said "has thy sight ruined thine vision?" It was referring to something that I wanted vs. something that I was doing. Was really interesting I never forgot it. Now I don’t know exactly what it is I’m not 100% sold on it but it was really unusual and it was related to something that was going on at that time for me.

Man, I’m a sinner but it’s not what God wants , Read psalms 23 . The lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want

  42. Stephanie Jackson on May 28, 2019 at 1:24 pm

Plus he dumped me because he said I was ugly and I dress bad just because I dress modestly and not like a w**** and I don’t wear makeup or anything he says I don’t do the simple things like cleaning up my house which is a lie I do clean up my house he says that I don’t know how to organize my prayer life and everything that is a lie he says that I don’t know how to take care of myself that’s a lie I’m just poor and single mom and widow and I don’t have a lot of money but I try to work as much as I can but he don’t help me other than feed me and take me places which I appreciate but other than that he always Downs me all the time of my integrity and my character and he also raped me as well and touched my son all I can say is I’ll let God deal with him and let him deal with me as well, I don’t wish no ill will on him I just put them in God’s hands let him work it out for him and me.

  43. Joshua Moore on May 28, 2019 at 1:24 pm

I’ll disagree with number 2. I don’t see any biblical principles with it. I get the idea with what you are saying but I just don’t agree.

To me time is an Important asset and I’ve wasted A lot of it, but doing that bonding with one person through dating is not something I want to do. I think when you have a close relationship with God like a real one. You won’t have to spend a year dating being unsure of where this is going. To me that’s just a sign of immaturity. Not really God saying anything.
