I bind myself, but also my family, friends, collegues, neighbours acquitances, opponents and the body of Christ to a spirit of self-control, binding myself not to be unequally yoked with and have any common share with those lacking self-control and those trying to undermine my self-control, believing God has already done this, praise God, in accordance with this word and 2 timothy 1:7, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!
i had to practically beg God to control me. there was no way i could have controlled myself without our Heavenly Father Jesus Christ . i believe our Heavenly Father controls me through the Holy Spirit & He’s going to continue to control me for the rest of my life because He loves me so much. i understand some people may not want God to control them idk however i love that God controls me & i wouldn’t change that for the world .

I need to start discipline my mouth
Please keep in mind that some people have disabilities that cause communication problems… ms, Al’s, autism spectrums and on and on… some people can’t say yes or no and it can be random and unrecognizable to others. Brain areas that require speech can be affected randomly in lots of diseases. If a predator or cop comes along with the opening words of what she said in mind…. They’re life is in danger.

This is a much needed teaching for everyone, especially disciples of Christ. The ability to be self-disciplined. To control one’s self comes from God when we yield to the power of the Holy Spirit to work in us. 2 Tim. 1:7 Yes, It is a gift from God, and a fruit of the Spirit. Gal.5:23. Without Christ we can do nothing. However, we can do all things through Christ that gives us the strength and that includes strength or ability to discipline ourselves to control self. 2 Peter 1:3. The following is Scriptural proof who Jesus really is and that He is much more than just the Son of God.
Paul said in Galatians 1:12 that he was not taught by any man but was taught by Jesus himself which means whatever Paul said was what Jesus told him to say. Paul said in 1 Timothy 3:16,"AND WITHOUT CONTROVERSY GREAT IS THE MYSTERY OF GODLINESS, GOD was manifest in the FLESH (Jesus), justified in the SPIRIT, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, and received up into glory."
Paul said in 2 Corinthians 3:17,"Now the LORD IS THAT SPIRIT, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty." Jesus is speaking in Revelation 2:7,"He that has an ear, let him hear what the SPIRIT says to the churches…." And Paul said in Ephesians 4:4, "For there is one body, ONE SPIRIT….verse 5 ONE LORD, ONE Faith and ONE BAPTISM."
Paul said in Colossians 2:8-10,"Beware lest any man fool you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 FOR IN HIM DWELLS ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY." Jesus is not just part of the Godhead – Jesus IS the Godhead.
Paul said in Hebrews 1:8,"But unto the SON he said, Thy throne O GOD is forever and ever…." Jesus said in Revelation 21:6-7,"And he said unto me (John) it is done, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I (Jesus) will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of life freely. 7 He that overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his GOD, and he shall be my SON."
Paul said in Titus 2:13, "Looking for that blessed hope, and glorious appearance of the great GOD and our SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST."
1 John 5:20,"And we know that the SON of God is come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his SON Jesus Christ, THIS IS THE TRUE GOD, AND ETERNAL LIFE."
Isaiah 9:6,"For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son (Jesus) is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, …" Jesus said in Revelation 1:8, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, says the Lord, which is, which was, and is to come, THE ALMIGHTY." Jesus said in Revelation 2:7, "He that has an ear, let him hear what the SPIRIT says unto the Churches….."
Jesus said in Mark 16:16, "He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be saved, but he that believes not shall be damned." Jesus addressed what damned means in Luke 16:19-31, Matthew 13:42, Matthew 25:41, Mark 9:45-46, Revelation 20:15, and Revelation 21:8.
Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, "Go therefore and teach all nations BAPTIZING them in the name (SINGULAR name and not names) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Every time Jesus disciples baptized anyone in water they invoked Jesus name at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16. Peter said in Acts 4:12, "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is NONE OTHER NAME under heaven given among men whereby we must be SAVED."
Some say the thief on the cross next to Jesus was not Baptized yet Jesus told him he would be with him that day in Paradise. Jesus had not yet given the COMMANDMENT to be Baptized in His Name until after he rose from the dead and just before he ascended into heaven. The thief or anyone else could not have been Baptized in His Name because they did not know about it. There is not one scripture that says a person receives the Holy Ghost just because they are a believer. Acts 19:1-5 is a good example.
If you are convinced you need to get Baptized in water in Jesus name and get Baptized with the Holy Ghost – which is addressed in Acts 2:4 (Pentecost), Acts 8:17, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, and Acts 19:3-5. Do a search, type in "United Pentecostal Church International", slightly scroll down to just below the red box, and type in your zip code. Then a screen will show a Church nearest you that will do that.
If you do the above you will be making SURE your name is written in the Lamb’s Book Of Life.
