What Makes God Holy

What Makes God Holy

In this video, we explore the paradox that God’s holiness presents to human beings. God is the unique and set-apart Creator of all reality and the author of all goodness. However, that goodness can become dangerous to humans who are mortal and morally corrupt. Ultimately, this paradox is resolved by Jesus, who embodies God’s holiness that comes to heal His creation.

    Our Father in Heaven
    Hallowed be Your name
    Your kingdom come
    Your will be done
On Earth as it is in Heaven
Give us today our daily bread
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.

    Amen.

Remember – you are loved! Jesus loved you and gave his life so that you could be free because of Him! He died for our sins so that we can be reconnected with our Creator God. At His crucifixion Jesus took all our wrong thoughts words or deeds we ever did to the cross, paying for them. This is because our sins separated us from Him, and sin’s punishment is death. Ehile we could do nothing to get back to God, He sent His Son so that we could get back to Him. He rose again three days later proving His power over sin and death, and He is returning soon to bring all His believing children to Heaven when He returns, and let those who reject Him choose the only other destination (Hell).

He wants us to choose life. He gives us the choice to follow Him right now and have Heaven when He returns, and a true relationship with Him now. He wants us all to repent of our sins and receive a new life in Him!

A life of strength, faith, and the ability to truly love others as God has loved us. He wants us to follow Him, and let Him be the Lord of our lives. Why is that part important? Because through Christ we will be given the power to overcome sin in our lives today and to love like He does. Christ offers this blessing to all who choose to believe in Him, trust Him and follow Him xx He will never leave you nor forsake you xxx

I thought being holy meant not sleeping with women but in the 21 first Century looks like holiness went right out the door.

Jesus Christ is Lord, God and Savior of all Creation. He died for us in the cross, was buried and resurrected on the third day. He died willingly because He loves us, and because He is faithful. Faithfully to do good because He is good. Faithful to love because He is Love. Faithful to you because He is Holy, and there is and never will be anything stopping Him from loving you the way the world never can. He will forgive your sins, so seek Him. Come back to Him. Pray to Him with all honesty, don’t hold back. He will meet you where you are, and save you.

0:44 I disagree that the sun is the source of life and 1:04 generates life on earth.

Light of the world, sun of god Sun of man, and psalm 84:11 are not enough clues? It’s not a metaphor it’s a universal truth.

  19. @RootinestnTootinest on August 23, 2025 at 1:10 am

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are titles. God is One.

Mark 12.29¶And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

Jhn 14.7¶If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8¶Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9¶Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

I am so surprised to know that that old testament and new testament are linked each other and all books of bible is about Jesus Christ.

  24. @danielnatzke6733 on August 23, 2025 at 1:18 am

This is a wonderful lesson animation, but the omission of the significance of sin as the real reason God’s direct holiness is "dangerous" (to a fallen mortal) is pretty odd. That dynamic doesn’t hang just upon the variable of ritualistic impurity. What does Peter suddenly admit about himself, to Jesus, when he first realizes He is God?
RC Sproul or Jerry Bridges’ teaching on Isaiah’s encounter can give a slightly better principial summary of Holiness than this.

10 years after watching this video, the Most High has opened my eyes, heart and mind to the realisation that the main point of Ezekiel ‘s vision is the Holy Spirit which is God’s power( active force) that Christ embodied and was the power he used in his physical ministry. It is the same Holy Spirit that makes whatever it touches alive, Holy and pure and it had been given to the world ( those who accept it to abide in them) as promised by Christ.

God is both entirely loving and entirely just. The only way anyone can be all loving and all just at the same time is to be holy.
