It’s so sad that a high-range clergy lends himself to conspiracy theories only to support a political agenda.

If the Church was like business or a Country in turmoil it would have pivoted to solve this problem.

I TRUST God has a plan.

I spoke to God on a Sunday morning walk in September 2020 depleted of the Sacraments and confused. I told God I was sorry but I couldn’t download the Mass anymore. I got to the stop sign and met a neighbor who had just come from Mass. Mass? Thank you to the SSPX I discovered a Mass I had NEVER seen before, but knew it was in my bones!

I’m so excited for Holy Week!

Precision here: Vatican II was hijacked on Day 3 of the Council by Modernists throwing out the original schema. What happened after that was just the natural consequence of a Modernist Council/dumpster fire living out what was written in the contradictory and heretical documents. God bless~

I was a clergy abuse victim. Began during infancy. I was subjected to cultism rituals. A Child gift offering ritual where they did not harm me. I flunked because I refused and next became a child sacrifice offering and I suffered both mental and physical pain. Today I am 67 and have DID/PTSD. I did find God when I was a child. God is always on my mind. I pray I don’t wind up on the streets.

I grew up in the time of "experimentation" during the 70’s and 80’s in Sydney. It was bewildering, to say the least. If it wasn’t for my father’s direction and involvement in the Legion of Mary, and his efforts to travel wide and far to attend Masses celebrated by those faithful and, at times, persecuted priests, I may not be grounded in my faith today. But I must confess, despite this, of almost becoming a victim to its destructiveness in later years as some clergy continued to attack those who merely wished to adhere to tradition. My fault was that I attended their parish out of convenience (Australians can do much road mileage in a week), and with health issues. May God keep my faith in times of persecution, especially what is to come. We can never take it for granted!

I am sorry that I was ever Catholic as it isn’t suited to me, or even to my family. We were Catholic simple because our family had been Catholic for several generations over. And “if” you can’t come up with a concrete answer as to why you’re Catholic. In no way am I telling people the church isn’t for them, because I am not.

God bless you Cardinal Burke for speaking up with a strong stand for tradition.
I am shocked to see what has been taken from me through the bait and switch of the post conciliar turmoil but so grateful to have found it, albeit late, because of the SSPX.

I just go to Mass and pray daily for conversion of sinners and hoping I can make it into heaven one day. I don’t understand.. I’m reading the comments and it sounds like the doors of heaven have closed. I didn’t know Jesus wants us to protest the Catholic Church.

Very true. Vatican II’s implementation causes caos.
‘Experiences’ are based on personal interpretation.
Much of Confirmation preparation was ‘what do you think’, rather than ‘this is the truth you need to know.

Thank you Cardinal Burke for sharing your story that hits home with so many of us of that generation. In 1966 after 10 years of Catholic school and Baltimore Catechism taught by Franciscan Nuns I failed religion. The nun that year 10th grade blew my mind by telling me that the Bible story about Adam and Eve and eating the forbidden fruit from the tree never happened. She said it was just a figment of someone’s imagination. After going to summer school for religion I completed 11th and 12th grades in the public school system. I was away from the church for many years. I am so blessed that God called me back. I try to remember to pray for the priests and nuns who taught me. It was a very confusing time with Vatican II. I’m holding on to hope and praying that I see some of it reversed during my lifetime. Especially praying for Holy Communion from a Priest ONLY and the return of the altar railing. God bless you.

I have always wanted to find a good book that tells the truth about how horrific the fallout from V2 was… but I have yet to do so. Any suggestions?

  23. @atalleywak on June 9, 2025 at 10:18 pm

I’m a Christian, but not a Catholic. My observation is that the goal of infusing leftist and liberal philosophies into the Church is to pressure them to re-categorize what sin even is. It seems the church is obliging to warp or mutate doctrine in order to accommodate sin, rather than the way it’s supposed to be which is the other way around. We should be changing ourselves to accommodate the doctrine of the religion we choose.

  24. @BLU-v4t on June 9, 2025 at 10:19 pm

Viva Christo Rey!!! I still will not go to a Novus Ordo church. The Latin mass is beautiful, brings me closer to God.
Confession can be done in a new way church IF the priest was ordained pre-Vatican II..

I wish the RCC stayed trad man. I have to go back to RCC after realizing Orthodoxy didn’t have it right and that Historically the east did answer to the Pope. But man oh MAN is it painful walking into a RC parish to find modernist garbage and people and even priests who act like they don’t want to be there. Meanwhile Orthodox will literally grovel and crawl and keep all the old traditions. Women veil make they’re supposed to. We recieve on the tongue like we are supposed to. No garbage modern music, no women at the alter, none of that crap. No cell phones going off and the priests dont face us to start talking about their personal life or crack jokes. Thats just so weird and disrespectful.

I hope her cause for Canonization will start soon because I am sure there are many of us who truly believe she is with Him, serving Him around His throne!!❤❤❤

I graduated from high school n 1966, the same year as the Cardinal Burke. Like him, experienced great mom catechism from the Baltimore Catechism. So simple. So lovely. So jtrue!

The Vat II fallout included ripping out communion rails, turning altars to The liberal bishops had altar railings

This is so sad. My heart throbs. The way the church was destroyed and intentionally thrust into turmoil. Pray that Pope Leo brings the church back together.

  32. @Spiritof76Catholic on June 9, 2025 at 10:34 pm

As a kid in the 60’s we got great catechesis using the Baltimore Catechism. The weekly work booklets were fantastic. I learned the faith thanks to my wonderful parent volunteer teachers. Then came the Spirit of Vatican II and the New Mass and modernity entered the Church. Almost 60 years later the church militant are still suffering in our pews from this demonic attack.

I attended Catholic School from 1957 as a 6 year old first grader and graduated 8th grade as a 13 year old. I was traumatized by the abuse we were subjected to. I went to public high school. I was very far behind in my studies. It was sad really.

Donald Trump’s administration just arrested Christian Reverends who were praying peacefully for the poor, in the American people’s Rotunda—this is the start of the persecution of Christians in America!

Trump’s Heritage Foundation used Christian prophesy to strategically devise a narrative blaming Democrats & Liberals for forcing upon us a socialistic society—THIS IS ABSOLUTELY FALSE! They did this to control the narrative, while creating a false need to continue supporting their anti-christian agenda, which is forcing upon America a full-on Authoritarian Regime. If this occurs, prepare for extensive christian persecution, because Nationalists strive to replace Christianity by force if need be!
WAKE UP! THIS IS NO LONGER A PARTY ISSUE—IT’s ABOUT SAVING AMERICA’s CONSTITUTIONAL FEDERAL REPUBLIC GOVERNMENT & LIFE AS WE KNOW IT IN AMERICA!
The devil is the father of lies & the great deceiver! Think about this! Nationalists teach hate, racism, & to fear diversity—all anti-Christian!
The true Christian congregation is devised off people from all walks of life, people of all races, creeds, & colors, and from all nations!
The CATHOLIC CHURCH IS A GLOBAL CHURCH NOT AN AMERICAN POLITICAL PART SCAPEGOAT!

  39. @boris8787 on June 9, 2025 at 10:43 pm

The catholic religion has never been the CHURCH in the first place – we must ALL turn to the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God – please read these two passages from the Bible. 1 Corinthians 3:11 & 1 Timothy 2:5.

  40. @pierreschiffer3180 on June 9, 2025 at 10:44 pm

VAII came with relativism and indifferentism. Not just its spirit, but in its very documents.

  41. @mignace2767 on June 9, 2025 at 10:48 pm

The Church houses many traditions under its umbrella. St. Francis was nearly excommunicated for heresy, he rebelled against the strict dogmas of the time. Now he’s one of our greatest saints.

There is room for Burke’s conservatism, and also for the Beatitudes and Great Commandment. Our world is too sophisticated to accept the top-down approach of the old heirarchy. The bishops abused their power, again and again. It is ok to question Church leaders. It is ok to reassess.
Burke insists that we are divided. Better to say that we are diverse. We can’t return to the times of old. Galileo wasn’t forgiven by the Church for his scientific work until recently. Burke wants a narrow definition of faith. But God loves infinite diversity.

The Holy Spirit makes no mistakes.
One man is just a pieces of the whole lenses
The abuses were never abuses they were just the drama of life that have always been there. ie Judas.
