Trust – Full Movie | Great! Hope
Inspired by the book of Job, Trust tells the story of Daniel Rainwater, an everyday guy whose life is falling apart. As his marriage to Sarah begins to crumble when he loses his job and thinking that life couldn’t get any worse, it does. Bitter towards God and going nowhere fast, Daniel must learn to trust God again before he loses it all for good. For Sarah, as tensions in the marriage rise, she falls out of love. Only to be confronted with whether she can still believe in her marriage and in hope once again. Meanwhile, their children Lea and Jonah are going through their personal journeys, with Lea having to learn to trust her parents and Jonah having to overcome his individual fears. Trust asks the age old question of ‘How do we trust God, when life is falling apart? And carries a thread of relevance to everyone that no matter what you’re going through, ‘Never give up on hope’.

Great to finally watch a Christian movie with Australian actors. I get the culture and loved it.
I’ve seen this movie before, but it was good to watch again. Giving up isn’t an option, for all of it is God’s plan. We may not like what we’re going thru, but God is right there with us – all the way. That’s the way my life is going, I don’t like it – but God has a purpose – making me stronger (hopefully). I seem to be a slow learner, so things just keep coming. But praying & asking God for help, he has come thru. We have such a Good God, who’s there for us. It’s a good idea, to write down all the Blessings that God have given us. That way we can actually See, what he has done all thru our life. Praise God & Give Him all the Glory, for he has showed us what he can do.

Just a quick comment about the Book of Job:
In the Bible "Book of Job", all of Job’s troubles originated from the devil, not God. It was the DEVIL’s Plan, NOT God’s, as this movie implies. To think of God as the originator of evils is to paint Him as being very sadistic. God did allow the devil to afflict and test Job for a limited time, knowing that Job would be blessed at the end.
God is sovereign, yes, but He gave human beings a free will. PLUS there is evil in the world. Between the demonic and peoples’ own selfishness and bad choices — sometimes even our own — the world is filled with troubles and sorrows. The Bible doesn’t anywhere illustrate God as the giver of sufferings and calamities (except in the Old Testament He sent those things as a judgment to evil doers after warnings were given and not heeded).
But, thankfully, God can and will turn awful things to good if we trust Him and are thankful for how He will turn things around, as the movie so eloquently portrays.

As soon as he got the rash I thought, he’s having the Job experience ! I have been going through seasons of Job for most of my life so I’m very grateful Jesus was introduced to me. He has helped me through betrayal, abuse, slander, thievery and so much more. I thank Him everyday for all He is and does. I need to, I live in China!
The car is like him a broken mess, but then God restores it all.
I loved that I was introduced to this movie. It’s a great movie and teaches us a lot of lessons.
The story of Job is one of the greatest stories in the Bible that teaches us that GOD is not angry at us when we r suffering all the time and it’s not always our fault. And we must learn to overcome all our struggles with patience and perseverance focusing on God and praising and worshipping him like Job in our toughest situations.
Since 2020 after a prophecy from one of my dreams. Around 20+ family members died. Including my mother last year. Which was so unexpected.
It’s tough but I know she’s with the father according to Isaiah 57:1-2. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
And I will meet her again. Thank GOD for this hope.

I lost my precious 26 year old son to a hit and run on 10.23.23 .. I don’t understand what’s happening around me .. but I will continue to TRUST GOD!!

Last year I lost my mom in March to cancer , then lost my cousin who was like my lil brother to drug od 5 days later then lost my dad in December. I felt punished by God nd couldn’t understand why I had to lose everything in such a short time. I almost gave up. I’m still struggling but I kno that God has got me this far and I trust him .
